Scenarios:

1. A little help, please?

A) Lost - You got lost somewhere, like a school or office building or even an unfamiliar city street, and it doesn't look like you can figure out the way back by yourself.

B) Bike/Car Trouble - Your mode of transportation has a flat tire and your cellphone battery is dead while you're in a middle of nowhere.

C) You Shrimp! - You’re just a short fry who can’t even reach the top shelf for an item. Or even if you’re tall enough, you STILL can’t reach it without a second hand. Like maybe, a ball that got stuck on a basketball’s ring.

2. Babysitting/Pet sitting

Your neighbor is going out of town for a few days. They ask you to take care of the pet (or the baby) for the time being. But you don't have to worry! Your neighbor hired someone to help you. You can only hope that person is reliable...

3. Playful Fight - The two of you are having such a nice time together, doing whatever it is you’re up to. Suddenly, one of you just can’t help but start teasing a little. Like maybe pick up the nearest object available and throw it to the other person's face.

A) Food Fight - Didn’t your mom always told you not to play with food?

B) Water Gun/Water Balloon Fight - Well, that’s one way to cool down.

C) Pillow Fight - Grab a pillow or two. It’s game time.

D) Tickle Fight - Who cares about objects! Your true weapon is your god hand!!

4. Hand to Hold - Something terrible just happened. It’s terrible enough to make you cry or flip a table. You don’t want to be alone right now with these feelings.

A) Shoulder to cry on - You’re not done crying and it just hurts to cry on your own hands.

B) Woke up from a bad dream - Did you get rickrolled in your sleep? Did you hear the trololo man’s song within your dreams? Sit up and tell that person to hold you right now!

C) Just had a bad day - Everybody’s against you today. Flop down that couch and start sulking.

5. Stuck/Stranded

A) Stuck in an elevator - You had places to go! People to see! But that can’t happen due a technical difficulty while you were riding the elevator. Fortunately ~~or unfortunately~~ you’re not alone.

B) Stuck due to rain - Just your luck, you forgot your umbrella. Do you wait it out or try to make a run for it?

C) Deserted Island - Due to a miracle, you survived the boat crash and even drifted ashore! Yay! Except... where the hell are you now? And, oh god, is that a dead body next to you? ~~Wait, it moved!~~

6. Sick/Injury

A) Stuck at Home - It’s your fault that you stayed out the rain too long. Or maybe you just overworked yourself too much. Be careful!

B) Infirmary - Looks like you got into a minor accident. Guess it was a good thing that someone was there to help you to the clinic.

C) Hospital - Still waiting on the results for that last medical exam? Maybe you're EXPECTING A BABY. Whatever it is, at least you've got some company to keep your occupied.

7. Confession

A) In Person - Nothing is more sincere than a direct confession!

B) Love Letter - You’re so traditional. Are you going to put heart stickers, too?

C) Phone call/Text/Email/IMs - Ahh, the wonders of technology. You can even say how you feel through emoticons. :D <3

8. Date

A) Dinner - Whether it’s in restaurant or take-out at home, enjoy a meal with that special someone.

B) Movie - Cozy up on the couch watching a DVD or head to the mall to watch latest blockbuster.

C) Picnic - Grab a basket, grab some food, and pray to god that whoever prepared it knows how to cook. Watch out for ants.

9. New Kid On The Block

You’re new to the neighborhood. Maybe you’re a new student or a newly hired worker. Maybe you even just literally moved in. Either way, you miss your old home and your friends. You’re so lonely. Aww. Don’t worry, maybe fate will be kind to you and reward you with a new friend very soon.

10. A little extra help with work or school

A) Study partner - The exams are coming up! You thought of calling up someone to study with, hoping that it will increase your focus and all those other benefits.

B) Homework pain - You have an extremely difficult homework. You’re at the point where you want to throw it out the window.

C) Overtime at work - It’s shit-o-clock. You’ll never finish these on time. You might as well pull off an overnight at the office, unless a kind soul decides to assist you with work.

11. Hanging Out

A) Shopping - Maybe your ~~victim~~ date doesn't mind shopping with you. Maybe they did. Well, they're here now and they're not getting away from you that easily!

B) At a coffee shop - Maybe it's your first date and the two of you are testing the waters, maybe you bumped into each other. Whatever the reason was, there's nothing like two people just talking over a cup of coffee.

C) At a playground - Nothing wrong with reliving your childhood here. Last one to the swings is a rotten egg!

12. Somebody Save Me!

A) Drowning - Wow, you didn’t even bother checking if your life ring had enough air in it?

B) FIRE! - Good job. You burnt your kitchen and now there’s a forest fire in there.

C) Defending your honor - How dare you forget your rape whistle at home! Maybe screaming will send someone to your aid! KYAAA~

13. Couldn't Make It To Bed

A) Drunk passed out - Looks like you had too much to drink. Think you can still make it to bed by yourself?

B) Slept on the Couch - You’re ridiculously tired and that short nap on the couch became longer than you planned.

C) Fell asleep in the car - Not exactly the ideal place to fall asleep in (carbon monoxide poisoning and all). Luckily, someone’s coming to your rescue.

14. Outdoorsy stuff

A) Stargazing - Maybe you two just enjoy the sight of the sea of stars. Maybe either of you believe in the legend of the wishing star. Either way, the evening sky is shining down for the two of you.

B) Camping - Screw the city! Nature is truly the best! Grab your partner ~~or be dragged off by them~~ and explore to your heart’s content. Watch out for snakes or bears.

C) Field Trip - It’s a class field trip or a work’s group outing! What will you do? Explore every nook of the location you’re in? Stay in your room and play board games? Sneak out each other’s rooms to meet up tonight?

15. Wild card - Roll again, pick anything you’d like, or create your own scene.

"Yeah..." At least he wouldn't feel like he needed to apologize with Sam. Maybe he'll just... write him first or something to see how that goes. Face to face seemed far more terrifying than if he wrote. Craning his neck into the little touch, he sighed softly. "Whatever you want to do..." Why did he like it when Leonard touched him so much? Wanting touch always surprised him, especially when it was with Bones.

"We'll I asked you, where do you want to go for lunch?" He asks putting his feet up on the coffee table enjoying the moment with Jim. "You want american, or something else?" He asks easily, because for christ's sake it's just lunch.

Turning his head, he shifted to rest his chin on the elder's shoulder. Blue eyes slid over his profile slowly before he smiled softly. "Weather isn't horrible, just a little cold. How about somewhere on the water front? It's not too far away." Maybe he was asking for too much, but for some reason, he wanted to ask for something a little more... date like.

"We could go to that Italian place with the view of Alcatraz..." He smiles pushing to his feet, to move to his bed room to change, he pulls on a grey sweater and a pair of black jeans shoving his feet into his sneakers. "Maybe walk around a little too..." He smiles at Jim leaning in the door of the bedroom.

"That sounds like a piece of history and a nice view." He smiled in return only letting it falter a second as Bones got up. Watching him move into his room, he loosened up when he realized he was just preparing for the day. It made him think about himself. Split lip, bruised and not at all attractive with mussed hair and borrowed clothes. After a second, he pressed his lips together before pushing to his feet. "Let me go clean up? Only fair I try not to embarrass you right?" He smiled sweetly at that and moved closer letting his hands move to light on Bones' chest. "If you don't mind some of the bumps and bruises I can't cover."

"You're not an embarrassment..." He says giving Jim a soft peck, "I'll wait here for you." He nods, "Go get dressed, then we can get lunch." He says easily.

He waits on his sofa reading the rest of the paper while he waits for Jim, he even calls a head and reserves them a table for lunch, so they don't have to worry about a wait.

Returning that kiss, he smiled against his lips before pulling away. "I'll be back." Looking back at the doctor, he finally slipped out of the apartment. January was a bit cold for padding off like he did in no more than the clothes he'd borrowed, but part of him wanted to keep the clothing even for a little while. Probably even sleep in them at night when he couldn't stay with Bones.

The shower he took was fast and only enough to help make him presentable and smell better. Smoothing his hair into a semblance of damp order, he pulled on a blue close fitting long sleeve shirt. The neck veed down his chest, but he put on a black undershirt to make sure as few of the cuts and bruises showed from his night time escapades. Finding his best pair of black jeans, he threw on shoes and grabbed his leather jacket before he left his dorm smelling and looking much better than when he slipped in.

He was pulling on his jacket as he hit the button to ping Bones as warning before he let himself in. Leaning in, he sent the other man a wide smile and tilted his head. "Ready to go, Bones?"

"Yep, lets go." He smiles a little putting an arm out Jim, and leading him out of the apartment, it's not that long of a walk to the water front from Bone's place.

He walks them up to the host, and grins, "Table under McCoy, I called about 45 minutes ago." He smiles a little. The host checks the padd in front of him and grabs two menus smiling a little, leading to a table by the window over looking the water and the warf all the sea lions hang out on, Alcatraz in the distance.

Following Bones became an easy thing over the time he'd known him. Very seldom did he let anyone lead him, but with Bones it felt right. He simply felt at ease with him. Like he could just leave everything in the doctor's capable hands and just enjoy the moment.

Something that became rather apparent as he realizes that Bones really did put effort into this. A reservation? Jim felt the surprise in his chest that felt a lot like the fluttering of his heart or trapped butterflies in his chest. When they got to the table he settled in looking a little stunned as his gaze drifted out to the scenery. "You know how to make a guy feel special, don't you?" He tried to smile in a playful manner, but it felt a little too much like actually being flattered for him to play it off too much.

He ducked his head with a laugh. "Thanks." Bones didn't need to do this. He didn't have to win him over or convince him to feel something for him. That ship sailed a lot time ago and he realized he'd just been a chicken all this time to own up to that fact.

Bones rolls his eyes at Jim, "You said water front, and you like this place." He says easily looking over the menu, "You just want to split the pizza and salad, for two?" He asks easily smiling at Jim, trying to get the guy to relax a little.

He knows Jim has had a rough life, and he figures with a little TLC and professional help, Jim could get his head on right, and realize what a good guy he is. The lack of the self worth and preservation really got to Bones sometimes.

Rolling his eyes in return, he turned his foot to knock against Bones' under the table. "That works. Being as you're going to make sure I get my daily rabbit food in there." Smirking lightly, he looked back out the window with a content smile. He could still hear the water even if it was muffled and he loved to watch it crest and fall. He felt like a foreigner in a way. Everywhere he'd been before now was always in fields and flat land... the ocean was beautiful.

"You know... one day I want to travel up the pacific coast on a motorcycle." He said that with an awed tone to his voice. The idea of being free in the wind and just absorbing the surroundings really sounded like a great idea. Looking back at Bones, he grinned. "Ever go rock climbing?"

"That would be fun... indoor yes, but I'm not letting you on no mountain Jim... what if you you fell." He says worriedly. "We could go pack packing up in the Serria's over spring break, that could be fun, or check out Big Basin." He smiles easily, ordering for them when the waiter comes back, he gets them a couple of sodas as well, and he smiles down at the sea lions.

"What? Why not? I know I can do that easily." Even though he protested, he laughed. Rolling his eyes lightly, he peered up at the other man. "That sounds like fun though. Out in the middle of nowhere? Seriously handsome, do you want to be stuck with me in that scenario?" Not that he didn't want to. He wanted to get away and leave that all behind especially so close to the day. "You know... I'd love it... traveling with you."

"Not gonna hike the Sierra's in January... we'll end up like the Donner Party..." He laughs shaking his head a little, "Though Tahoe does have some nice resorts, plenty of snow up there right now." He smiles a little warm and easy.

He smiles when the pizza and salad shows up, and picks up a slice and plops it on his plate, shaking parm over the slice.

"That... doesn't sound so awesome. Though I'm a big advocate of survival training." Not that he would ever drag Bones into any sort of situation like that. Never. "Oh? Does my Southern boy want to go play in the snow?" He teased softly, leaning forward to rest his elbows on the table. "Hmm... cold... cuddling by the fire. I think a cabin or ski lodge in the winter is just perfect."

Angling his head playfully, he hummed softly as he watched his bestfriend dig into the pizza. He waited a moment, just taking in the scene and considering what it would be like to have Bones all to himself in a place like that. Interesting.

"Had enough survival training..." He mutters taking a sip from his water, and another bite of pizza. "Rest and Relaxsation is what I'm aiming for over this month off..." He snorts, "I don't even have to report to clinic duty after next week... we can make a vacation of it." He grins a little. "I'll even let you have hot chocolate... with marshmallows."

He put on his best feigned look of shock. "Really, mom? I can?" He instantly laughed as he scooped up a piece of pizza. Smirking at the other man, he nudged him with his foot under the table. Grinning, he tapped his toe against the doctor's ankle. "I want to do that. If you aren't working... we spend time together in a nice place in the mountains. I even promise to spend a good deal of time indoors by the fire if you promise to stay close as well."

"Jim if you want to try daddy kink, a restaurant at lunch is not the place to talk about darlin'." Bones smirks teasing Jim a little as he finishes his slice, he groans when his comm goes off, and he checks it.

"I gotta get to the clinic... someone went into labor early..." He says swiping his credit chip through the payment screen near the table. He gives Jim a slightly lingering kiss and smiles at Jim. "I'll find a place and make the reservation." He says giving Jim another kiss and leaving, "Come by the clinic in a couple hours we can dinner on my break..."

Instantly the red ran up into his cheeks coloring the skin all the way to the tips of his ears. He certainly hadn't been aiming for that, but Bones worked the moment rather eloquently. That is... until the comm went off.

A lot of his good mood crashed right then, but he kept his expression unchanging as he watched the payment and lifted his brows. "He even paid the check." He smiled lightly as he rose to his feet and returned the kiss. A hand rose to lightly pressed his hand to Bones' chest gently. Kissing back he kept the smile on his face. "What do you want me to bring you, Bones?" It gave him something to look forward to and kept him away from the bar in a way.

"Hmmm surprise me..." He says easily, kissing Jim one more time before heading off to the clinic to bring a baby into the world.

The clinic isn't too busy this time of year, and once the baby comes into the world safe and sound, it's pretty quiet, just a couple of kids coming in for vaccines, a few officers in need of boosters before shipping out again. He looks through cabin rentals on his data padd book marking a few of them to show Jim when he shows up.

Rolling his eyes in amusement, he watched Bones leave while sinking into the chair a moment longer. Only when he couldn't see him anymore, he packed up what was left of the pizza to take back and put in Bones' fridge. Which was his next destination.

He stared around the quiet dorm for a long moment before he knew he needed to get out. But he promised... so instead he went running. He ran longer than needed and harder than he likely should have. And where he might have been exhausted upon returning home and showering, he managed to keep himself from sliding into a bottle somewhere and getting into another fight.

When he's presentable again, he stops to pick up something healthier to make the doctor happy. Dragging the gyro lunch to medical, he bounded (albeit tiredly) through the door and leaned on the front desk to grin at the nurses. Giving them a few well placed compliments that made at least one of them blush, he winked and convinced them to call for his doctor. The girls giggled and blushed before calling for Bones and Jim? Jim just leaned against the desk and asked them their plans for the holidays just to keep them talking so he didn't have to. It was meaningless to him, anyway. It gave them a highlight to a boring day and it got them to call Bones faster... That made it a win-win scenario in his mind.

Bones walks out and shakes his head, and laughs softly, "Jim... you trying to date me or the nurses..." He teases eyebrows going up slightly.

He smiles when he sees the food containers... "what'd you bring me for dinner..." He laughs a little pulling Jim back to the tiny office they crammed him into, only a desk a chair and a small sofa. He closed the door behind them and flops down on to the sofa, "Found a couple of places..." He says easily.

Grinning at that, a browser rone just a little as he sent Bones a much more intent gaze. Where he followed every line of his best friend'said body, he also took in his movement and how his expression changed with those words. "Just being polite, Bones. You know you'very got my full attention." Winking at the other man, he looked back to the girls and waved. The sound of their giggling followed him as he met up with Bones.

"Just a little Greek. Figure it's healthy like you prefer and a Greek salad to share." He held up the bag looking quite proud of himself before setting it in front of the couch and sinking down next to him. Lifting up on a knee he leaned over and pressed a kiss to his lips. "You found somewhere for us to go? Really? And here I thought you were a workaholic." Teasing softly, he nuzzled Leonard's cheek then kissed just under his ear.

He smiles a little and slides the data padd over to Jim, "Found three places that look good, which one do you like?" He asks cracking over the containers for their dinner. "Only got two hours left, after this." He smiles warm and easy. "Mostly some filing." He says moving to his desk, "Take a nap, you look beat for some reason, darlin'."

Taking the data PADD, he scrolled through the places smiling a little to himself. In all honesty, he loved all of the ideas, but the thought that Bones wanted to do this with him. Shifting on the sofa, he slipped into the brunette's side and looked to the food. "Did I do good, doc?" Grinning lightly, he rested his cheek against his shoulder. "Can I help? I just went for a run to clear the head..." That lasted longer than it should. But... it kept him sober. He found that a win to be honest. "I don't want to take up space."
