Scenarios:

1. A little help, please?

A) Lost - You got lost somewhere, like a school or office building or even an unfamiliar city street, and it doesn't look like you can figure out the way back by yourself.

B) Bike/Car Trouble - Your mode of transportation has a flat tire and your cellphone battery is dead while you're in a middle of nowhere.

C) You Shrimp! - You’re just a short fry who can’t even reach the top shelf for an item. Or even if you’re tall enough, you STILL can’t reach it without a second hand. Like maybe, a ball that got stuck on a basketball’s ring.

2. Babysitting/Pet sitting

Your neighbor is going out of town for a few days. They ask you to take care of the pet (or the baby) for the time being. But you don't have to worry! Your neighbor hired someone to help you. You can only hope that person is reliable...

3. Playful Fight - The two of you are having such a nice time together, doing whatever it is you’re up to. Suddenly, one of you just can’t help but start teasing a little. Like maybe pick up the nearest object available and throw it to the other person's face.

A) Food Fight - Didn’t your mom always told you not to play with food?

B) Water Gun/Water Balloon Fight - Well, that’s one way to cool down.

C) Pillow Fight - Grab a pillow or two. It’s game time.

D) Tickle Fight - Who cares about objects! Your true weapon is your god hand!!

4. Hand to Hold - Something terrible just happened. It’s terrible enough to make you cry or flip a table. You don’t want to be alone right now with these feelings.

A) Shoulder to cry on - You’re not done crying and it just hurts to cry on your own hands.

B) Woke up from a bad dream - Did you get rickrolled in your sleep? Did you hear the trololo man’s song within your dreams? Sit up and tell that person to hold you right now!

C) Just had a bad day - Everybody’s against you today. Flop down that couch and start sulking.

5. Stuck/Stranded

A) Stuck in an elevator - You had places to go! People to see! But that can’t happen due a technical difficulty while you were riding the elevator. Fortunately ~~or unfortunately~~ you’re not alone.

B) Stuck due to rain - Just your luck, you forgot your umbrella. Do you wait it out or try to make a run for it?

C) Deserted Island - Due to a miracle, you survived the boat crash and even drifted ashore! Yay! Except... where the hell are you now? And, oh god, is that a dead body next to you? ~~Wait, it moved!~~

6. Sick/Injury

A) Stuck at Home - It’s your fault that you stayed out the rain too long. Or maybe you just overworked yourself too much. Be careful!

B) Infirmary - Looks like you got into a minor accident. Guess it was a good thing that someone was there to help you to the clinic.

C) Hospital - Still waiting on the results for that last medical exam? Maybe you're EXPECTING A BABY. Whatever it is, at least you've got some company to keep your occupied.

7. Confession

A) In Person - Nothing is more sincere than a direct confession!

B) Love Letter - You’re so traditional. Are you going to put heart stickers, too?

C) Phone call/Text/Email/IMs - Ahh, the wonders of technology. You can even say how you feel through emoticons. :D <3

8. Date

A) Dinner - Whether it’s in restaurant or take-out at home, enjoy a meal with that special someone.

B) Movie - Cozy up on the couch watching a DVD or head to the mall to watch latest blockbuster.

C) Picnic - Grab a basket, grab some food, and pray to god that whoever prepared it knows how to cook. Watch out for ants.

9. New Kid On The Block

You’re new to the neighborhood. Maybe you’re a new student or a newly hired worker. Maybe you even just literally moved in. Either way, you miss your old home and your friends. You’re so lonely. Aww. Don’t worry, maybe fate will be kind to you and reward you with a new friend very soon.

10. A little extra help with work or school

A) Study partner - The exams are coming up! You thought of calling up someone to study with, hoping that it will increase your focus and all those other benefits.

B) Homework pain - You have an extremely difficult homework. You’re at the point where you want to throw it out the window.

C) Overtime at work - It’s shit-o-clock. You’ll never finish these on time. You might as well pull off an overnight at the office, unless a kind soul decides to assist you with work.

11. Hanging Out

A) Shopping - Maybe your ~~victim~~ date doesn't mind shopping with you. Maybe they did. Well, they're here now and they're not getting away from you that easily!

B) At a coffee shop - Maybe it's your first date and the two of you are testing the waters, maybe you bumped into each other. Whatever the reason was, there's nothing like two people just talking over a cup of coffee.

C) At a playground - Nothing wrong with reliving your childhood here. Last one to the swings is a rotten egg!

12. Somebody Save Me!

A) Drowning - Wow, you didn’t even bother checking if your life ring had enough air in it?

B) FIRE! - Good job. You burnt your kitchen and now there’s a forest fire in there.

C) Defending your honor - How dare you forget your rape whistle at home! Maybe screaming will send someone to your aid! KYAAA~

13. Couldn't Make It To Bed

A) Drunk passed out - Looks like you had too much to drink. Think you can still make it to bed by yourself?

B) Slept on the Couch - You’re ridiculously tired and that short nap on the couch became longer than you planned.

C) Fell asleep in the car - Not exactly the ideal place to fall asleep in (carbon monoxide poisoning and all). Luckily, someone’s coming to your rescue.

14. Outdoorsy stuff

A) Stargazing - Maybe you two just enjoy the sight of the sea of stars. Maybe either of you believe in the legend of the wishing star. Either way, the evening sky is shining down for the two of you.

B) Camping - Screw the city! Nature is truly the best! Grab your partner ~~or be dragged off by them~~ and explore to your heart’s content. Watch out for snakes or bears.

C) Field Trip - It’s a class field trip or a work’s group outing! What will you do? Explore every nook of the location you’re in? Stay in your room and play board games? Sneak out each other’s rooms to meet up tonight?

15. Wild card - Roll again, pick anything you’d like, or create your own scene.

"Jim all I'm saying is that you don't have to win me... you've already got me." He chuckles softly pushing his fingers through Jim's hair.

He picks up the healthy stuff for normal meals before grabbing hot chocolate mix, marshmallows and stuff to make smore's, "Anything special you want...?" He grins a little.

Smiling just a little at that, he hummed a sound of understanding at the fingers in his hair. He could purr like a cat he liked being touched like that so much. "Yeah? I thought I was still working on keeping you..."

Looking around, he only picks up a thing here and there, mostly fruit. He's never had that great of an appetite. "Dunno... Will we need anything for a fire or to go outside and enjoy the area?"

"We've got the winter gear, boots ect... place is stocked with fire wood... I packed the other stuff..." He waggles his eyebrows. "Was offering to get you something sweet, know you've got a sweet tooth darlin'..." He says easily.

"I did try to buy it all before we left." He arched a brow at that and snickered. "You do think of everything don't you?" He actually truly liked that about Bones. Always prepared. Like that old group from centuries back. Boy scouts or something. The thought made him laugh before he angled his head and hummed thoughtfully. "Including my liking to sweet things... Dunno. I could be really dirty and just say something with whipped cream and chocolate syrup on it?" He didn't really mean it, but he had to send that look over at McCoy and dare him to bite.

"You askin' me to eat you up Jim... what am I the big bad wolf?" He smirks a little as he pushes their cart along and grabs a tub of cookie dough ice cream, then heads to the check out.

"Get a nice fire going I'll make us up a little lunch, we can pick out a movie... unless you want to head right out and explore."

"I never said that... exactly." He put on his best innocent look and purposely fluttered his lashes at Bones just to end up laughing and looking away. Glancing at the ice cream, he arched a brow in amusement. "Didn't know you liked that flavor." He did... but still, didn't see it coming.

"I am great at getting a fire going. I used to go camping..." And then Tarsus, too. He knew how to survive with the bare minimum, but he didn't need to say that out loud. "Is there a place to go ice skating? I haven't done that since I was a kid."

"We can look it up when we get to the cabin." He smiles as they pay for their groceries, and load them up into the jeep. It's not long before they are pulling up to the cabin. "This is going to be a good couple of days." He smiles when he gets out of the car snow crunching under his boots, not a hover car or other cabin in sight.

Stepping out of the jeep, he turned slowly, eyes scanning the world around them and taking in the remote location along with just how beautiful it looked. It looked like something out of an old painting come to life. The quiet but serene sounds of nature settled in bone deep as he smiled to himself. "It's perfect." He stated that matter of factly as he picked up bags and groceries, fully intent on carrying as much as possible so Bones didn't have to. "I think you are absolutely right."

Bounding up the steps to the door, he looked back at his companion with a beaming smile. "Got the keys already, right?"

"They're in the mail box, Jim... you shoulda let me carry something." He snorts, grabbing what little Jim didn't and moving up to the front porch. He flipped open the mailbox and pulls the keys out and opens up the cabin. It's cozy inside a large window looking down a hill covered in snow covered redwoods.

He sets down what he's holding on the couch and starts taking things out of Jim's arms and setting them down until he can kiss the other cadet.

"I could have, but I figured I'd get it." He smirked playfully and let his eyes follow Bones as he retrieved the keys. Following the other man inside, he started to neatly put things away. That neat compulsion in his head telling him that everything had a place and it should be set there.

Instead, his eyes blinked as Bones pulled things away from his grip. Something like awe flashed in his eyes as he gave in to his best friend's movements and leaned in to kiss him in return. Slipping his fingers up the line of Bones' neck, he gently cradled the brunette's head in his hands as he lightly nipped his lower lip. A lot of his impulsive behavior seemed to fizzle out whenever Bones did things like this. Pulling Jim away from the push to move and just... experience the warmth and nearness of his best friend. But not just a best friend now... was he?

"You really have me wrapped around your fingers, you know that?"

"Nah... I'm pretty sure it's the other way around." He says easily giving Jim another quick kiss, and starts to help put things away. "If you want to go skating Jim... find us a place." He smiles as he puts a few things in the fridge.

Blinking a few times in surprise, he melted into the kiss only to stand there looking a little out of breath and stunned at that particular idea. Jim followed Bones with his eyes and felt oddly at a loss now that he'd moved away. Rubbing at the back of his neck, he ducked his head and bit his lower lip. Forcing himself to move, he picked things up and moved them to their spots methodically.

"Do you want to go? Or wait till tomorrow? I'm good with either." He was. He didn't need anything more than the company right now and part of him was afraid his own mind and the date coming would ruin this. And Bones did say...

Rubbing his face, he picked up his data padd and started to search through it. Maybe it would be good to stay busy?

Bones finishes putting the groceries away, and making two mugs of hot chocolate and comes over to where Jim is sitting, and hands one over as he settles down next to Jim on the sofa.

Blinking, he looked up from the PADD and tilted his head curiously. Shifting closer, he leaned into his side while taking the cup. "There is one not that far away. We'd have to hit the lodge to rent skates though. Unless you have some packed away that I don't know about." He took a sip, eyes peering over the rim at him as he hooked a foot over Bones' ankle. "So, what's the verdict, doctor?"

"Sounds good, you want to finish our hot chocolate, then head out?" He smiles kissing the top of Jim's head, and taking a slow sip from his mug.

Nodding, he cupped his hands around the mug and settled into the curve of Bones' side easily. Sinking lower, he rested his head on the other man's chest lightly. Slipping his leg further over Bones' leg, he hooked it over his thigh and used his toes to softly smooth against Leonard's over calf. He carefully insinuated himself into Bones' space, not really thinking about it, but he completely fit himself into the doctor.

He felt oddly calm. Warm and... safe? Huh. "Mom remarried a few times after... you know... She never changed her name. If you're that in love with someone, why bother marrying again?" He never understood that. He never understood why he got stuck with those strange and angry men that treated he and Sam poorly and later just him. Lifting blue eyes to Bones, he let them find hazel. "She kept leaving me with them and never thought about what it was like when she wasn't there." But then, when she did move him to family... that... yeah. "Heh... I try not to talk about this, just can't help thinking about it this time of year."

"Jim... you need to talk about it, you can talk to me about it." He says kissing the top of Jim's head, "I don't mind, and we both have issues." He says fingers starting to card through blond hair.

Bones wishes Jim would stop being so hard on himself, about, well about everything, and realize that it was okay to talk to him about the things that got to him this time of year.

Tipping his head into the kiss, he exhaled a soft sigh. Curling in closer, he felt like he wanted to disappear into his side. Like maybe this right here, in the quiet and warmth of Bones' body. Humming a soft sound, he took a sip of the cocoa and spoke softly. "You're the only one I've ever trusted."

Closing his eyes, Jim turned his head into Bones' shoulder talking softly. "Abusive guardians suck. I honest to god tried. I made great grades, I did what I was told... Sam was the rebellious one." Then Sam left, Bones knew that. "Love was nothing more than strings to hang yourself on for me... Because those assholes... they didn't love her. They had their own agenda." Sighing softly, he settled the cup on his thigh. "You were married, Bones... is it like that for you? No moving on? Or was she not the 'love of your life'?"

"Jim..." He huffs softly looking away and setting the mug down shaking his head a little. "I um don't like talkin' about." He knows a little hypocritical. "I thought she was, but she wasn't... we wanted wanted very different things out of life, and then she ran off with Clay." He says with a shrug, "They wanted the same things, pretty sure she's happy now."

"But... her leaving was for the best."

Part of him wanted to instantly apologize. He really never asked about the relationship before or the failed marriage. He just, gave Bones space about it. But he suddenly had to know... especially if they were this close now. Because if he was just another failed attempt like his mother's long string of miserable choices... he didn't want to hurt Bones like that.

Nodding slowly at the explanation, he turned the mug slowly in his hands. "Are you? Happy?"

"Far more happy, then I have been in a long while, Jim." He smiles holding Jim a little closer and nuzzling into his neck.

Blinking a few times at that, he let out a surprised breath at the warmth that flooded through him from that nuzzling in his neck. One hand rose to cup the back of Bones' head as he shivered at just how good it felt. Not even in the purely tactile of sexual way. It just felt good. "I..." He tried to speak, but he had to take a breath first. This was walking so close on that line of love he didn't know what to do with. But he didn't want to lose it. "I'll make sure it stays that way." He needed to know Bones was happy. And he would keep that promise if it killed him.

"Do you still want to go skating?" Bones asks sipping his coco enjoying the peace with Jim. He keeps his arm around Jim breathing slow and easy.

"Sure." He smiled at that, finishing his cocoa, not really wanting to end up being questioned further or accidentally rambling more. Maybe later. Flicking his eyes to the doctor's face, he looked a little disbelieving at the thought that someone like Leonard McCoy would put this much effort into him.

Still, he smiled and leaned in to kiss the corner of his lips and flick his tongue over them to catch the sweetness lingering there. Smirking, he pushed to his feet and moved toward the kitchen to wash his cup. "I can go get the skates unless you want to go together to get them?"

"Yes Jim, I would like to go the the ice rink with you, and get the skates and skates..." He laughs a little giving Jim a sweet kiss, before he pulls back on his boots, and smiles at Jim. "It wont take us long to get to the rink... Lookin' forward to it..."
