Vriska pops into her hive (or house, as the humans call it for whatever reason) absentmindedly heads for the kitchen. Something smelled good, which wasn't unusual. She pops the lid off the top of the pot on the stove and grabs a spoon to sample, then another. Hope it didn't need that steam!

Then she heads for the fridge, grabs a soda and heads to the living room. She can hear Kaz singing off key in another room and rolls her eyes, plops herself down on the couch and turns the television waaaaaaaay up while she sips her soda and starts counting the dollar bills she's swindled from dumb saps earned while on the job today.

"Sit," Stephen says, guiding the still-woozy Daimon to his overstuffed couch, and pressing a cup of Wong's very fine tea into his hand. "And tell me what happened."

Daimon starts to protest sitting, unsteady on his feet as he is, still staring across the room to where his portal had dissolved as if he's waiting for something to rip through after him.

The heat of the teacup in his hand startles him, and there are still ice crystals melting on his skin. ice on a demon. He doesn't even like tea, at least not the way Stephen takes it, but he wraps both hands around the delicate cup just the same.

"I uh... forgot to account for orbital rotation while traversing...." He clears his throat. Which means he might have, maybe, been traveling through time rather than just space.

Ben Solo wasn't ever an easy kid to raise. He cried and screamed from the moment he was born. He never sat still, and always got into anything - especially trouble. When his actions started to wreak havoc on his mother's political career, they shipped him off to his hippie Uncle. Unfortunately, it didn't help, and at the age of fifteen, he'd dropped out of school, changed his name, joined a vaguely militant cult and had some kind of homosexual fling with a cat-obsessed neo-nazi.

Seriously, Rey was the best thing to ever happen to him, in Leia's opinion. She was also adamant about one other thing - that one day, he needed to have a kid that would put him through everything he put her through.

He got one.

"Matt! Matt, don't touch that! Get down from there! I'm trying to make dinner for... No! No, Daddy's cutlery isn't a toy! NO! No, don't throw that!!" He seriously just avoided a knife to the foot as he tried to get his three year old off the counter. No clue how he got up there in the first place. "Mommy will not be happy if she comes home from work and finds one of us trailing blood across the apartment again. No don't touch that!! The stove is... No! [Yukisada wasn't human, but he was very caring for humans and just about anything that breathed and came through his door. It didn't matter who they were or what they did, Yukisada couldn't help but try to help and care for them. Which was how he met Dazai. He along with those he brought were the first humans who at least tried not to be startled by his head moving a full 180 or his unnatural appearance.

He lived just on the outskirts of town and often wore a hood to hide his strange looks when he went out. Dazai pretty much lived with him now which was very welcomed, he enjoyed caring for someone and knowing that someone was going to come home.

Today was no different, when Dazai came home. Yukisada had just finished cooking dinner for three since sometimes Dazai's coworkers came over.]

[He smiled back at him before leaving his post briefly to greet him properly, he gently patted him on the head something he usually did. Some of Dazai's coworkers didn't like it but the pale haired boy really seemed to enjoy this type of affection.

He brushed some hair from his face, a show of affection and a way for the underground doctor to check for injuries. He smiled when he saw there was none to be seen.]

[Jess doesn't ask for a lot of things a lot of the time. Sleep, food, and alcohol pretty much top her list, and she doesn't even really care about the quality of any of those. If she could lay on it, if it didn't kill her, and if it was drinkable, she was golden. Despite her small list of needs, someone was keeping them from being met.

Her alcohol is missing. Since she didn't finish it in the first place, it feels like she should get definite bonus points, and yet this is the reward she gets. Some might claim she had gotten drunk enough to forget throwing away the empty bottle or something stupid like that, but she didn't. Not only does she remember the night perfectly, her trash is basically empty.

They had a thief.

Her door opens before her feet can be heard padding down the stairs. Even before Jess makes it into the central room of the condo, she knows who will be there: Captain Perfect and Stoic Man, the latter of which is her main suspect, but no rock would go unturned when it came to solving the heinous crime.

Without hesitation, she blocks their line of sight, dark eyes studying them both in turn.]

Is this supposed to be some kind of intervention or the cheap liquor too hard to pass up?

[ It would be a lie to say that Bucky didn't love pissing Jess off. While it was true that he may have only tolerated her initially on her on the basis that she was part of the team, but as time had gone by he had also begun to think of her as something like a sister. They fought and argued and disagreed constantly like real siblings, at least. He had never voiced the sentiment, and it wasn't as strong as the sense of brotherhood he had with Steve, but he still thought of her as part of their strange little family.

Steve got his share of occasional pranks from Bucky, too, but it wasn't nearly as fun. There wasn't much satisfaction in teasing someone who would only let out an exasperated "damnit, Buck!" before going on with their day. Jess, though? She was always a guarantee for a good reaction.

He'd been expecting her for hours, and when he finally heard her distinct footsteps approaching he had to hold back a smirk. That proved even more difficult when she parked herself right in front of them, but he was lucky to have a good poker face. He simply frowned up at her from his place on the couch, gesturing to the television behind her. ]

[Steve, meanwhile, is blissfully unaware of what is about to transpire. Although the particularly harsh steps coming down the stairs is more than enough of a warning. The three of them have been together long enough that arguments and pranks happening between Jess and Bucky have become a part of life; a part that he has learned to accept for the most part. As long as there is no real rancor between the two of them he's mostly fine with stepping back and letting things take their course.

Which is why when Jessica marches into the room and stands in front of the TV, Steve only gives her a raised brow and silently raises the remote, directed around Jessica, to pause the show they had been watching. He shoots Bucky a telling look out of the corner of his eye. Yeah, Buck, you're not fooling him.]

Maybe you should tell us exactly what the problem is, Jess. Something about your alcohol?
