When is a monster not a monster? (oh, when you love it.)
![]() There's a long precedent in folklore and myth of beautiful young people - both men and women - being kidnapped by monsters: dragons, beasts, goblins, demons, elves, vampires, wolves, or even evil humans. In the end, however, these prisoners are almost always rescued and brought back to civilization to live a normal and happy life. But what if they didn't want to leave their jailor? They've seen behind the surface and have begun to sympathize with this "monster;" no, more than that, they've fallen for them. Will this story have a happy ending? Will the monster believe that anyone could love them? Most importantly, though, can the two of them be left alone without any attempts at a "rescue?" how to play

[Okay! I'll set it in the Frozen universe to make things easier. :D]
There are all sorts of legends surrounding the mountain. Mysterious creatures like trolls are said to live there, with only a handful of people knowing their existence. If you fell down the mountain or inside it? You're never coming back.
Elsa had her ice powers, so she was protected in that regard. Her ice palace served as a marker for her sister to find, so she didn't need to stray further than she needed to. Still, the pursuit of the queen caused quite a ruckus, and the mountain provided a surplus of fallen soldiers that day. It's not like anyone who fell here would ever be found. It's not like giving up their soul to a chipper living flower was any better than slowly freezing to death. He did them a favor, really.
Monsters generally stayed away from humans due to how easily overpowered they are by them. Due to monster souls being fragile and made of love, mercy, and compassion, if a human attacked a monster with malice and violence in their hearts, they could die instantaneously. But there was a type of monster--the Boss Monster--who upon defeating a human, had the power to absorb their soul. This was the power humans feared, leading to them being sealed away underground or else hunted to the point of near extinction. But Asriel Dreemurr is not your usual Boss Monster due to... complicated circumstances.
Finally, he's gathered enough souls--human souls at that--to become the form he'd always desired. Good. He was sick of being a flower.
Now he needed just one more to become God. The Princess of Arendelle would do.
It was no use going after Elsa. Even in his current form, he didn't have a chance against a human with ice powers. Besides, what would Arendelle do without their queen? He'll absorb Anna's soul first, then he'll obliterate her and the rest of her kingdom.
Asriel used his magic to sneak into the castle undetected. It was a... less graceful kidnapping than he expected. His captive may be the princess, but she certainly didn't sleep like one. With her hair like a messy beehive and her limbs splayed every which way, he snarled in disgust at her snoring and drooling on the sleeves of his robe. But she slept like a rock and didn't wake up, so that's all that mattered.
He'll take her to the Void eventually. But for now, they'll stay at her sister's old palace with Marshmallow and the Snowgies. Enjoy your rest, princess.
