The Apology Meme



You've done something incredibly stupid. Maybe you've said the wrong thing. Maybe you broke something that wasn't yours. Or, maybe you broke a promise. Whatever the reason, you have to find a way to apologize to the person you hurt.

Rules:

1. Post with your character name, fandom and preferences.
2. People reply to you using RNG (or not) to pick an option from both lists.
3. Roleplay the apology and decide if the person can ever be forgiven.
4. Have fun!

The Reasons

01. Caught Lying - Maybe you thought they wouldn't find out, or maybe you thought they wouldn't care. Whatever the reason, the other person is now mad at you.

02. Caught Cheating - You had an affair and you loved found out. Or, maybe you cheated on a test or game.

03. Heat of the Moment - The two of you were fighting and some hurtful things were said. Now it's time to make amends.

04. Broke Something - Whether it was on purpose or on accident, you broke something belonging to the other person.

05. Snooping - You were caught snooping in the other person's stuff, or maybe even their email or phone.

06. Gossip - The other person told you a huge secret, and you blabbed it to anyone who would listen.

07. Wildcard - Pick your own scenario!

01. Letter/email/text - It's kind of cheap, but it's a start, right?

02. Phone Call - Maybe calling them is a food first step.

03. Flowers - Have them delivered to them, or take them there yourself.

04. A Gift - It can as small, or as big as you'd like.

05. A Surprise Weekend Away - Maybe getting away will solve the problem.

06. Makeup Sex - Maybe it won't solve all your problems, but it's fun!

07. Wildcard - Whatever you'd like.

[ If asked to chose which surprised him more, he's not sure he'd be able to choose. Szayel Aporro Granz, the Octava Espada, by all appearances alive (or as alive as an Espada can be said to be)? Or, returning from a late-running Student Council meeting to find a stranger picking a strand of his hair off his pillow.

Said stranger, of course, being the aforementioned Espada.

Of course, he threw him out (how he'd managed it a question he can only reflect curiously back on, now that his pulse has settled). Not that he's foolish enough to expect it to stick. ]

It had been embarrassing, stupid even, and Jane had tried to play it off at the time. Looking back now it had almost seemed a personal affront to have done such a thing, something no man or woman should touch, but darn it she'd just been dying to do it since the first moment she saw it. Thor had gone out, and there it was, left behind but always ready at a moment's notice to come to his call.

Mjölnir. Jane had stood there staring at the hammer for so long it was as if she were transfixed by the runes carved into it, until finally her patience was overridden by her curiosity, and she had moved forward with her hand outstretched. No sooner had her fingertips touched the handle then she had heard a noise behind her to see none other than the hammer's owner standing there. Caught, red-handed. Jane had made a quick escape before Thor could say a word but now that a few hours had passed she felt she should really apologize for being so snoopy.

Not that she had worked up the nerve to do that in person, nope. Jane called the number of the cell phone she had gotten for him, hoping he remembered how to answer it.

[That is the literal, undignified sound that Peter Parker makes when the door to Dr. Crane's office opens and he accidentally lets loose the web that he'd been using to carefully lower himself from the vent.

He'd known better than to take the usual way in; offices like these were always well-guarded and he didn't think they'd let some kid in a hoodie waltz in with a smile and no appointment. Similarly, he'd known not to mess anything up-- doctors tended to be the OCD type and Peter tended to be the accident-prone type. Not a good combo.

See, for example: how he was currently groaning as he lifted himself from off of Dr. Crane's desk, sporting a facial expression akin to a child who'd gotten caught stealing cookies.

He'd heard... rumors, about this guy. He thought he'd check him out, look into some of his research while he was out of office. ...Huge, huge mistake to have not worn the suit.]

Woah... sorry... this isn't the bathroom, is it? Definitely not. Wrong room.
