Pillow Fort meme;

It doesn't matter what age you are. From 1 year to 9,679,524,387 years, everybody loves a good pillow fort!
1. Post with your character and, in your starting comment, describe the magnificent [or not so magnificent] pillow fort that you've built.
2. Make sure to state your character's name, preferences, and all that other stuff in your headline.
3. Have funnnn!

It's so much more arrogant of you to imply that I can't.

[ Kirk was not a sort to be easily intimidated, and he wouldn't give Khan that power. To yield once would be to lose a war, and one he thought he could ill afford to lose. He leaned into the pressure on his throat, close enough now for their breath to mingle as he looked into the others eyes. ]
Foolish of you to think I'd let you.
no subject
One return from the dead, and you fancy yourself immortal?
no subject
Who knows? It's you running through my veins now, remember? You certainly give the impression of thinking that of yourself.
[ His brows arched again, not giving up his position, curious to see what the mighty Khan would do. Anyone else he might have been able to predict, but he would give Khan that at least - hardly predictable, mostly. ]

You've painted yourself into quite a corner, Captain.

[ Tactics wasn't everything. Kirk relied as much on his instincts as he did any tactical training he had. What was the saying? The best laid plans never survived first engagement? So despite his position he felt no fear, no concern - or if he did he hid it well. But then, Kirk had always been an optimist. ]
Then there's only one direction to go, isn't there?
[ He grinned and reached up as if to grasp Khans shoulders, making to go forward and push Khan down in the same motion. Would the other expect it and counter? Or would he be taken by surprise? A dangerous experiment, but one he was willing to risk in a pillow fort. ]

But Khan also made no attempt to use his throat grip to limit Kirk's freedom of movement. If he was so recklessly intrepid that he would actually attempt a kiss Khan wasn't inclined to stop him. In the meantime, Khan had to hold up his side of the banter.]
Are you sure that's an option?
no subject
It never hasn't been before.
no subject
How very presumptuous of you.
[Khan pulled his hand away from Kirk's neck and planted it on the ground behind him so his position, was now symmetrical. He shifted his legs to allow Kirk a rather close and comfortable place against his body. Though he was still upright, Khan was now under Kirk with both hands behind his back. His manner was relaxed and unconcerned, though Khan was keenly curious as to what Kirk would do next.]

He cocked his head slightly at the dangerous animal he currently straddled, nestled so close. One hand came off his shoulder, thumb brushing across the curve of his lower lip. ]
Have you ever been kissed?
[ Probably a strange question to some, but for everything that Khan had once told him, he had to wonder if the man had ever known affection in his life, or held it. ]
no subject
That would depend on your definition.
[He showed no outward reaction to the gentle touch to his lip, unless Kirk misinterpreted his unusual openness as a reaction.]
no subject
All right. Have you ever been kissed by someone you would consider a lover?
[ There, that should be specific enough. His eyes turned away from Khan's mouth and up to his eyes, searching for something in them, though he wasn't sure what. ]

[The entire bio-anthopology wing of Starfleet's science academy would be eating their hearts out right now if they knew someone else was hearing this when they had begged so prettily and were only rewarded with silence. Khan never did enjoy playing the role of a specimen, and discussing this even in a personal conversation was a similar experience. The only difference, and the only part that mattered, is why the listener wanted to know. Advancement of scientific knowledge and publication rights wasn't a good enough reason.]
no subject
Why bite? And do you do it just for... for pleasure or because you feel you have to?
[ His fingers move to brush across the sharp angle of his cheeks, wondering if his fingers would come away bloody. ]
no subject
I don't bite humans. Augments are far more resilient, and human screaming is so shrill. It always kills the mood.
no subject
That is not an answer to my question, Khan.
[ Maybe because he was feeling bold and particularly cheeky he darted in to nip at his lower lip, the one he had just so recently been caressing with his thumb. A chastisement, perhaps? ]
no subject
Don't do that.
[He lowered his arm far more gently than he had raised it.]
no subject
[ Kirk froze, watching the other like one would an irritated tiger, waiting to see if it would calm or strike. When Khan relaxed so did he, brushing his fingers over the place he had bit at in apology. ]
So, not out of pleasure then?
no subject
Our neural structure was engineered to make us the most efficient weapons of mass destruction humanity has ever created. You cannot possibly imagine how much pleasure we feel from violence.
no subject
Is that why you don't want me biting you? Because it turns you on?
[ He leaned in again, smiling so that his teeth showed, biting his own lip as his fingers dug into the other man's skin, angling them so his nails bit ever so slightly. ]
no subject
[His smirk turned into a warning, narrow-eyed glare.]
A mosquito will bite to survive, but I've never seen a human hesitate to crush one out of existence for daring to do such a thing to them.
Human bites are insults.
no subject
And why is that?
[ He had learned to ignore Khan's jabs as humans, letting it roll off him in favor of probing deeper into the others psyche. ]
no subject
Do you really need an explanation?
no subject
About why you find it insulting? Yes. Because frankly that reaction - it didn't seem like revulsion. It was to quick, to instinctual - like you were defending yourself.
[ He sits patiently in his lap, waiting. Khan could say all he wanted, but Kirk wanted to KNOW why. He could make guesses from what little he knew, but it would be better to hear it straight from Khan. ]
no subject
[Kirk certainly gave the impression of not understanding. Maybe he could be excused for his ignorance. He didn't grow up in a world that revolved around Khan's kind.]
From a creature who should know better.
