stage i; none, streets are already blanketed in white.
stage ii; very light and intermittent.
stage iii; light - moderate. lasts longer periods.
stage iv; continuous, heavy snowfall.
stage v; the hardest of cores - blizzards, snowstorms, you name it.

scenarios;

① fuck the police, this is the best time for a walk. hope you've got a nice thick coat on.
② stranded in the buttcrack of nowheresville? weren't you watching the time? now you've gone and missed that last bus out of there. or maybe you're lost, somehow. what do?
③ literally chilling, in this weather, is quite easy to do. sitting around relaxing in it is a wee more difficult, but sometimes much more enjoyable, especially if shelter can be found. the snow is beautiful to watch, after all.
④ the weather's not going to stop you. your snow fort's packed full of ammo and ready to go. those aren't snow angels over there; they mark where the poor souls you've downed have fallen. be careful with that snowman's head!!
⑤ you're about fifty miles from civilization but there's a roof over your head, so never mind the chilly draught, right? right. you mightn't be the only one lucky enough to stumble upon this little shelter, though. remember to share the blanket.
⑥ everyone stuck outside should be jelly. you've got a fireplace and hot cocoa and damn if it isn't awesome. a heater's not quite so romantic, but it'd do. there'd better be a backup generator in case the power trips.
⑦ mix and match, or make up your own.

The weather was being unusual, which for Atia usually meant something strange was going on. Victor hoped that the curse involved wouldn't be too severe, but was on the alert for anything. So far the snow was going down quietly and peacefully, leaving just enough of a layer that he made tracks as he walked to the Teal Deer for a drink.

Of course he could just as easily drink at home, but he also needed the break to warm up.

When ever so conveniently in the same place as someone he got on well with and cherished time spent together, Klaus wondered if Atia had a hand in placing certain people around the same spot. Would make sense, given her priorities.

No matter though. He was walking, intentions to go home, when he spotted Victor and made his way over.

"Hello, mate," he started with an easy, small grin. "Enjoying the weather?" One hand gave a small wave out to the flakes that fell down, a dusting of it all over his form.

[jolting]

"Actually, yes," Victor answered. "I love the snow. I have a lot of good childhood memories associated with snow. And," he added with an amused twitch of his lips, "it gives me a good excuse to snuggle up close with people."

With a closed but bright smile to that, Klaus bridged any remaining distance and clapped a hand over his friend's shoulder before sliding his arm across to slightly embrace Victor from the side. "Now do we ever need an excuse for that?"

Dropping his arm away, he kept close and added, "We're similar in that regard. Snow was one of my favorite parts of growing up." He glanced away for a moment. "Care to share a drink or are you headed home to go snuggle up with someone?" Very subtle suggestion right there, Klaus.

Victor smiled at Klaus's touch, moving closer. "I don't see why I can't do both." His eyes flicked over the hybrid meaningfully. They weren't lovers very often, but Victor always enjoyed it when they got together.
