stage i; none, streets are already blanketed in white.
stage ii; very light and intermittent.
stage iii; light - moderate. lasts longer periods.
stage iv; continuous, heavy snowfall.
stage v; the hardest of cores - blizzards, snowstorms, you name it.

scenarios;

① fuck the police, this is the best time for a walk. hope you've got a nice thick coat on.
② stranded in the buttcrack of nowheresville? weren't you watching the time? now you've gone and missed that last bus out of there. or maybe you're lost, somehow. what do?
③ literally chilling, in this weather, is quite easy to do. sitting around relaxing in it is a wee more difficult, but sometimes much more enjoyable, especially if shelter can be found. the snow is beautiful to watch, after all.
④ the weather's not going to stop you. your snow fort's packed full of ammo and ready to go. those aren't snow angels over there; they mark where the poor souls you've downed have fallen. be careful with that snowman's head!!
⑤ you're about fifty miles from civilization but there's a roof over your head, so never mind the chilly draught, right? right. you mightn't be the only one lucky enough to stumble upon this little shelter, though. remember to share the blanket.
⑥ everyone stuck outside should be jelly. you've got a fireplace and hot cocoa and damn if it isn't awesome. a heater's not quite so romantic, but it'd do. there'd better be a backup generator in case the power trips.
⑦ mix and match, or make up your own.

[He takes a sip of the drink and he can feel a little bit of tension slip away from his shoulders. Yeah, definitively not the cold and snow type.

He shifts a bit, making some space on the mat for Asahi to sit down if he wants.]

Yes. Just, too much crowd for prolonged period of time. [Another sip.] Too much Hinata is not good for my mental health.

[azuhi]

[Asahi was surprised when Tsukishima made room for him, but sat down dutifully anyways, waiting to hear him out. If Tsukishima actually wanted to talk, and Asahi turned him down, who knew if he'd ever try it again?]

Ah, I see. [Asahi nodded, and looked towards the little circle made up of the rest of their first-years, where Hinata was squawking loudly at something Kageyama said.] Well, I don't know if that's true, but in weather like this, it is kind of nice to have someone who is so sunny around. Though I guess being around people who are that high energy can get exhausting really quickly, too.

[Tsukishima glanced at Asahi and then back at Hinata. Sure everyone considers him a ray of sunshine, but that damned rain hurts his eyes. Can't look at the Sun for too long, can you?

Also, that answer was so wishy-washy it almost made Tsukishima cringe.]

You really don't like taking sides, do you Asahi-san?

[azuhi]

A-Ah?? No, I guess not. [Asahi rubbed the back of his neck and laughed sheepishly, though really he felt like he was being put under a microscope, with the way Tsukishima just had a withering gaze. He was pretty sure Tsukishima didn't mean too much harm, though. At least, he hoped not.]

I have a pretty weak constitution, is what Suga says. Someone my size is supposed to be a lot more assertive.

[Tsukishima keeps his eyes on him for several moments, then sighs and leans back. He puts the cup next to himself and crosses his arms-]

If we were going with that logic, Hinata should be the one hiding around. You're what you are and that's it- others can like it or hate it, it's their problem. [It might sound harsh, but Tsukishima always thought of things this way. Changing yourself just because someone doesn't like it is pathetic.]

[azuhi]

That's true! [Asahi agreed quickly. That had always been more in line with his thinking, anyways.]

I don't think I could imagine Hinata being meek. At least, not with hair like that. It attracts too much attention. [Asahi laughed at his own little joke.]

[tsooki]

[There's a teasing smirk twitching on Tsukishima's lips-] Are you agreeing because you really think that or are you agreeing because I said it? [He can't help it Asahi, he's notsorry.

Tsukishima makes a face again and leans chin on his propped up hand-] He'd attract attention even with black hair. He's just that loud. Orange hair is just a plus.

[azuhi]

Uh! Both? I mean, I'm agreeing because it's nice. That someone else thinks that your nature is just what it is. [Asahi shrugged a little sheepishly.] Like, as much as I like Suga and Nishinoya and Daichi, it gets exhausting when they want me to be something I can't be. I'm the Ace because I'm the biggest on the team, and because I'm a good spiker? But I'm not... I'm not Tanaka.

[tsooki]

[Tsukishima goes pale for a moment-]

Thank God you're not Tanaka. This world can't handle two Tanakas. [His eyebrows narrow in thought-] Or two Hinatas and two Kageyamas. [Tsukishima sighs and looks over where Hinata's bouncing around-]

To be honest I was relieved when I found out that our Ace was more down to earth person. [He bites his cheek before speaking again- this is hard for him to say, so you better appreciate it Asahi-] Ace should be rational and intelligent, not a hyperactive monkey that can't put a sentence together. [He's aiming at Hinata's "gwaaah" and "gyaaa" and "kapoow" language.]

[azuhi]

[Asahi couldn't help but smile at how Tsukishima opted to word it, and the small glare he sent Hinata's way. He sighed, and the smile softened, but it never left his face.]

Uh... Thank you, I think? I'm glad I'm not a hyperactive monkey?

[There was obvious laughter in his voice. Tsukishima really wasn't too bad, not the way the others could make him out to be.]

[He isn't too bad when people are not annoying him. Also Asahi's older than him so he respects that as well.

He shrugs-] Nothing to thank me for. That's just my opinion. [He smiles as well- Tsukishima's also glad that Asahi's not a hyperactive monkey.]

[azuhi]

[Asahi nodded, and remembered his drink, so he picked up his cup. Then he gestured for Tsukishima to do the same.]

You'll want to drink before it gets cold. The principal said earlier that they expect the snow to stop falling around eight o clock, so at least we probably won't be snowed in overnight.

[tsooki]

[He nods and picks up his cup, which is embarrassingly already half done. Someone might or might not have a heavy sweet tooth. Don't tell anyone...]

...that would be an ordeal. Spending night with panicky students in this little space. [Their gym is big, but not enough big for everyone.]

[azuhi]

Yeah, it's going to be good to go home after this. I don't really like it much either... But I think if I was a first-year, I'd probably be as panicked as Yachi.

[He laughed a little embarrassedly as he recalled what he was like two years prior; much worse than he was now.]

[tsooki]

[Tsukishima looks over at the poor girl. Luckily Hinata's loudness and and Kageyama's and Yamaguchi's company seems to have distracted her so she's calm.]

Well, she's handling it alright for now. As are you. [He finishes off his chocolate and sighs.] Thanks for the drink.

[azuhi]

[Asahi nodded and smiled at the sight of the first years.]

Yeah. She has good friends. You do too, uh, if you want them. Give me your cup, I'll go throw it out. [He got to his feet and held out his hand.]

[tsooki]

[That's what everyone's telling him. But he's not too sure. Trusting people is not his stronger point.]

Ah, sure... [He hands him over the cup, still looking perplexed about the whole 'friends' thing.]

[azuhi]

[Asahi nested their empty cups together, and hesitated for a moment, then went on to where the nearest trash bin was and threw them out. He wondered if he should go back and rejoin Tsukishima, or if he should just leave the first year to his own devices.]

[Asahi was one of the rare people that Tsukishima didn't mind company from. Others would be Yamaguchi, captain and Sugawara. Very rare people. The only problem would be lack of topics to talk about, not company.]
