What else needs to be said? Release your inner warrior and partake in some epic (or hilariously bad) battles! Do you use a sword? Are you a martial arts master? Are you a wizard? Can you even fight?

It doesn't matter if you're just having a friendly spar or deciding the fate of the universe. You're suddenly filled with the urge to fight the next person you meet. Cut loose and show off your skills!

[Sonic flushes a little bit, puffing out his cheeks as he looks away] I'm nothing of the sort! I was just mocking Genos for his ridiculous crush. It's not MY fault if you've been too oblivious to notice.

No, I think you're actually concerned about him.

[But he glares anyway because Saitama is his ridiculous crush.]

Are you a lonely guy too, Sonic? I seem to keep attracting them, huh, Genos.

Hmph! [he folds his arms over his chest, refusing to look at either of them] I just think it's absurd the MY rival is forced to live like a pauper because the self-absorbed fools at the Hero Association fail to appreciate his abilities. It's disgusting. He could do so much better.

[And he is absolutely not touching the lonely guy comment, he is not at all lonely, he's perfectly happy with his social situation.]

[Can he just keep Sensei to himself? God why does he have to share so much! Especially when it's Sonic, uh.]

Sensei should be an S-rank. They should realize how amazing he is.

I failed the written test. That's all...

They have a written test? Are you serious? What's on it? Math problems about saving trains that are about to collide or some other nonsense? You don't need brains to be a hero - most of the one's I've dealth with don't have two thoughts to rub together.

They use a written test to judge your motivations for becoming a hero? [snort] No wonder the association is full to the brim with corruption and self-serving morons. At least among criminals, we're honest about our intentions.

Well yeah, of course it's easy. Even I could come up with respectable reasons to become a hero. Look- [He straightens up, touching a hand to his chest and clearing his throat] I believe that good people shouldn't suffer, and that evil should be punished. It's the duty of the strong should protect the weak. [he flicks his wrist, rolling his eyes] Just saying things like that doesn't mean you believe them, and it's even easier to lie when you're putting your answer on a piece of paper. Half the heroes I've met don't actually care about any of that, they just want to look good, or to have an excuse to hurt people.

Like that tank top idiot that interrupted us before.

[Genos breaks the chopstick in his hand. That guy who yelled about how Saitama was trash and should just quit. He hadn't needed to step in then because of course Saitama could handle himself.

Still, Saitama deserves so much more than what these people give him.]

He was a C-class hero though his strength does not even approach Sensei's.

I thought everyone wanted to be a hero because it was fun.

[SHRUG]

If you just want to help people normally, you just become a cop...

[Sonic gives Saitama a blank look, then shakes his head] Most people aren't like you, Saitama. You are... something else.

Anyway, Tanktop wasn't even worth acknowledging, but he was in my way.

Saitama-sensei is the most amazing person I've ever met. Nobody can compare to him.

[Look, at least he doesn't let out a dreamy sigh.]

All it takes is hard work.

[Their desserts arrive, and he'll start eating his cake!]

[snort] You'll take any excuse to start singing Saitama's praises, won't you, Genos? It's amazing he hasn't gotten a fat head with how much you gush about him.

The general public don't realize how strong and heroic Sensei is.

[So if he can counter that, even just a little, he will.]

[Saitama shrugs! Sure, he wants to be popular, but he also doesn't want people turning on other heroes that are actually working hard. He's just lazy by comparison...]

You think I'm great, too, Sonic. If I weren't worth your time you wouldn't come bug me all the time.

Who cares what the general public thinks? They're weak, running to hide at the first sign of danger. They wouldn't know the meaning of the word sacrifice even if you gave your life for them right before their very eyes. [He shrugs] I wouldn't waste time trying to change their minds.

[he flushes a bit at being called out like that, then huffs and waves it away] I don't think you're great, I know it. I know it, and I hate it. I'm kept awake at night knowing that you exist and that your death is so far out of my reach.

[He cares how Saitama feels, and thus he cares a lot about how the general public views him. Though, after opening that last bunch of fanmail he's learned Saitama doesn't get riled up about letters.

Part of him is happy Sonic acknowledges how amazing Saitama is, but the rest of him is on guard dog duty.]

He's right. Sorry, man. At this rate you'll be pitting yourself against me for the rest of our lives.

[Genos is the cutest little yappy guard dog that Sonic would happily punt into the sun]

I don't think Genos meant that the way you mean it, Saitama. [pause] And I don't think that training until your hair falls out is actually a thing.
