This is it.
The Apocalypse.

It's the end. No matter where you live, no matter what your world or universe is, the end is now. And you know it. And everybody around you knows it.

There is nothing you can do. You can't stop it, it will come, and it will destroy everything, yourself included.

Now, you only have a couple of hours left. What will you do? Who will you see? Who will you search for? Are you going to call someone you haven't seen in years to apologize? Are you finally going to tell someone the truth you've been hiding? Will you finally confess to that one person you've known you've always loved but never had the courage to come clean about? Or are you going to gather all your friends and have one last beer together, while watching it all come crumbling down through your window?

Will you be alone, in the end?

[This is something all Rangers fear and think about, but never really expect. Usually, potential catastrophes start very localized. Angel Grove, Terra Venture, Mariner Bay, Ocean Bluff. Only a handful of baddies that Dana can remember have successfully put the whole planet at risk, but even then, the active team had been able to beat them back. The one time they'd needed help, all their predecessors had marched on in and lent a hand. And so, as far as she's concerned, the world was never supposed to actually end, because the good guys were always able to find a way.

Only, this isn't quite under their control, is there? In the face of all this destruction, she's no more equipped to fight back than any average person out there.

Well, if they're all going to die, she may as well ease people's pain if she can. Spending the last few hours of one's life in agony doesn't sound thrilling, and too long as both a superhero and a medical professional have hard-wired into her brain the instinct to help people.

And that is exactly what she's off to do, should anyone find her.]
