♔ｐｒｏｔｅｃｔ♘ You're a someone on a dangerous quest, a hero in a not-so-easy spot, a royal, or maybe even the last of your kind who will bring about the Earth's redemption. Whatever the case may be, you're valuable, and you're in a position that may be a bit dicey if you attract the wrong kind of attention. And you're the protector, the only person who can keep that erstwhile hero or heroine out of harm's way. Somehow, you've been roped into protecting this person, whether it be through your loyalty to them or someone close to you, a mission, or a promised reward. You'll be rewarded, of course. The work may be cut out for you, but just do your job, keep your head down, and it'll go smooth. Except, as things get more perilous and truths are revealed, the two of you break the bounds of protector/protected or guide/guided and feelings may begin to flourish. Being in such close quarters may get you to see the other in a different light, and saving someone's life just may be the ultimate form of intimacy. Could this be the real danger? She gets that at seventeen, she needs a legal guardian, and up until twenty-four hours ago, she hadn't had a body guard. That had changed when she'd gotten shot in the shoulder on her last mission. Coulson had gone all over protective dad on her.

Which was how she'd ended up with Roman. Coulson had dressed it in the guise of her showing him around since he was new to this particular facility, but Ava saw it for what it was. Coulson was sticking her with a babysitter. At least he's a cute babysitter.

[Up for protecting a suddenly mortal god of the Underworld?]

A bet was a bet. Yet had Hades known what his brothers had planned, well he probably would have done exactly the same thing all over again. Being a god came with quite a few perks, yet immortality also came with an unending sense of boredom. In truth the god was far more amused by the way things had transpired, then he was concerned with his own safety.

Having lost the bet the god of Death was stripped of all powers, and turned completely mortal for 24 hours. Granted the goal was to survive the whole day, but Zeus and Poseidon wouldn't make it easy. Of course the two god's were directly forbidden from coming after the now living Hades on their own, but that didn't stop his brothers from sending minions his way. What none of them had counted on was Hades choice of protector.

Over the decades more then a few of the damned made their way to his domain, and a lot of them had been practically gift wrapped by the line of women known as Slayers. So when it came time to pick a place to arrive on Earth, well it seemed only fitting that Hades elected to appear right before her. Without warning or fanfare the now mortal god of the Dead suddenly appeared, and he offered a small grin before nodding to the window of her room. "Apologies for the intrusion but I think we have less then a moment before something wicked this way comes."
