You enter the elevator with only one other person on it. Twenty seconds into the ride and it stops. The power is out. The doors won't open, you're between floors, and no one is answering your calls. You're stuck with this person for an unknown amount of time.

[Stiles falls silent when Scott steps forward and puts his hands on his shoulders. He lets out a shaky breath at Scott's words, because he knows he's sincere. He knows he's sorry.

Stiles can hold grudges for a long time, against nearly anyone. But the longest grudge against Scott lasted maybe two days, tops. And right now he doesn't even have that in him. Instead, he pitches forward and wraps his arms around Scott's waist.]

I'm sorry I didn't tell you. [His voice is strained.]

[ Scott immediately brings his arms up and around Stiles' frame, holding him close, tight, bordering on maybe too-tight. He was so close to losing Stiles, he's almost afraid to let go. ]

I know. I get why you didn't. [ Scott, better than anyone- except possibly Stiles, knows how he can be when he wants to do the right thing, wants to save as many people as he can. Especially with the Chimera's. They didn't ask for this- well, to be fair none of them did, but least of all them. ]

I'm sorry I made you feel like you couldn't.
