You're a good kid, and this the deep, dangerous woods - literally or metaphorically. Here, there be dragons; more accurately, here their be wolves, of the big and bad variety, hungry to the core. And they're waiting for pretty young things, especially those in red hoods, because they want to gobble you up. But not with teeth and with claws (not usually), for they can lure you to your destruction in delectable, devious, wicked ways. You way want that, though. That may be why you're here in the first place. You're not so pure, are you? Then again...you may be the wolf yourself. What you're after is the hunt, the prey you know you can swallow whole. ✧ What big eyes you have The kind of eyes that drive wolves mad So just to see that you don't get chased I think I ought to walk with you for a ways What full lips you have They're sure to lure someone bad So until you get to grandma's place I think you ought to walk with me and be safe ✦ ✧ HOW TO PLAY ✦ Pretty obviously, this meme is based off of the fairytale of Little Red Riding Hood, which has commonly been interpreted to be about sexual awakening and seduction. It's also inspired by the short story "In the Company of Wolves" by Angela Carter, which is worth a read. ✦ Feel free to play this scenario as completely straight (ie characters with wolf ears, werewolves, literal fairytale settings) or as allegorical (a young, inexperienced character going into a bar full of bikers, etc). ✦ Similarly, bring along any kinks you'd enjoy. Hinata made sure she wasn't followed before she walked into the forest and over into a familiar path she started taking. It started when she took a walk one day. She grew lost in her thoughts that she wandered off in another part of a forest that she never walked to before and tried to get out as fast as possible when she stumbled upon him.

When she first met Akira she didn't know there were anyone staying in the forest. Hinata thought he would try to keep her quiet, not help her get back to the village. After that she wanted to get to know him better. Hinata made sure not to visit all the time, she didn't want to disturb him, but when she needed a break after missions she walked down that familiar path again.

She liked talking to him and the way they grew close. He was also very handsome too. She may have thought what it would be like to be with him, though she knew she shouldn't let her thoughts stray like that, there were times she couldn't help it.

Hinata flushed a bit from her thoughts as she tried not to mess with the end of her jacket. She stopped at a small part and looked around for him. "Akira? Are you there?"

At first things were silent around here. Then, a long, low yawn was heard from the canopy above her. Akira was very good when it came to hiding his presence, even from chakra-sensing abilities. One reason werewolves had managed to avoid getting culled, captured, or boxed in by the various ninja forces.

"Ah, it's you," he said, lazily peeking over one massive branch. He rolled off and fell straight down, bouncing from branch-to-branch until he hit the ground softly, "So, what brings you over, today?"

Hinata smiled when she heard the yawn above her and looked up. She watched him roll off and go straight down, until he landed softly in front of her. It always amazed her how he could land so softly from such a height along with the way he could hide his presence even from her Byakugan.

"I just got back from a mission and I hadn't seen you in a while. I wanted to know how you were doing."

"Same as ever, just survivin'," he said, brushing himself off. Akira barely wore any clothing, usually just some tattered shorts and a tank-top. Things he had stolen long ago, and kept rewashing long past the point of fading.

"I had a good hunt the other day," he said, "Animals are bein' driven around in weird ways, as humans expand."

Hinata nodded as she watched him brush off. Part of her wanted to offer him some clothes, but she always held back. She didn't know if he would take them, not to mention it would be hard trying to get some clothes back to the forest. The thought stayed in the back of her mind though.

"That's good. Hmm, that's true. I don't know if the village is going to expand soon, but it looks like they're going to stay still for now. It's good to see that you're alright."

She also wanted to give him a lunch, but she didn't know if he would want it either.

Akira tried his best to stay away from humans, but something about Hinata kept calling to him, despite every instinct screaming for him to run. He looked her over as he approached, not quite sure what to make of her constant attempts to flag him down.

"Is that it? You come out here just to baby-sit me?" he asked, "Like a pet you can't bring in the house?"

Hinata shook her head when he approached. One of the things she worried about seemed to happen. "No! I like coming out here to see you. I don't think you're a pet I'd like to bring you in the village, but I don't know if you'd come with me." She swallowed as she looked at him. "I like talking to you and learning more about you. You do listen to me and you don't treat me different. I know I shouldn't come back, but I-I like coming here. I do."

"But why?" he asked, cocking a bushy eyebrow as he crossed his arms, "I'm pessimistic, I don't have much in the way of manners, and I'm pretty anti-social. What keeps you comin' back out here? It seems like it would be a huge hassle to you."

[shyhyuuga]

"It's not as big a hassle as you think. I have to make sure that no one follows me, but once I'm out of sight it's easy." Hinata leaned against the trunk of the tree as she placed her hands in her lap. "Well, it's quiet out here, I can relax, and you're not that bad at being social. You talk to me, you see me, not my last name. Yes, I could leave, but I like coming back to see you."

Hinata tucked a strand of hair behind her ear as she looked up at Akira. "Um, why do you talk to me?"

"...Dunno'," he said, looking off to the side and out over the nearby lake, "I just do. You don't strike me the same way most humans do, there's somethin' different about you that holds my attention. Hard to say what exactly it is."

He rubbed the back of his head, a very light blush coming to his cheeks.

"You make me feel like I'm at ease."

Hinata looked in surprise when she saw the light blush on his cheeks before she smiled and looked down at her sandals with the same flush across her own cheeks.

"I'm glad I do. You make me feel nice too."

"Nice like a friend, or nice like something else?" he asked, breaking the tension in his usual, up-front manner, "Are you attracted to me?"

The blush across her cheeks deepened as she looked everywhere, but at him. "I-I...well, um..." His up front manner always made her think about things she tried to keep in the back of her mind. "Um...I...um, nice as s-something else."

Well, maybe it would be better if she got it off her chest. Hinata took a small breath and looked up at him. "Yes, I'm attracted you. Um, how do you feel about me? It's alright if you don't feel the same!" Oh, how sh wished she could calm down.

"I...don't dislike it," he said, a bit unsure how to proceed, "But it ain't like I have much experience wiht this sorta' thing. I've never been in love with anyone, so how would I know?"

Hinata felt better that he didn't dislike it. She nodded. "That's true. Well, you don't dislike it, so that's a step in the right direction. Maybe we can try something." She stepped a bit closer to him. "If you'd like?"

"Try something?" he asked, crossing his arms as he wondered what she was getting at, "Like what?"

"Well, something small like holding hands or even being closer to each other. That's a few ways to show how you like someone. We can try that if you want to." Hinata figured that starting out small would be a good idea.

"I...could give it a shot, I suppose," he said, coughing as he stepped closer to her, "So...I just stick my hand out to you?"

Hinata felt relieved to know that Akira wanted to try. "Yes, like this," She held her hand out and reached over to lightly touch his. "I can move to hold your hand, if you like?"
