Druid huh? Aren't they those people who live in the dirt and pray the gods will come back?
[ His - well not specifically his gods, haven't be sighted for at least a hundred years. Most think them gone, abandoned their children to the scourge that now hunts them, other think them dead. Either way they blame people like Michael, people too tall or too short with dark hair instead of light. Demons, they call them, monsters.
Humans are never able to see who are the real monsters. ]

[ If there's two things that anger her the most is that her religion is insulted and that her half-blooded status is a source of mockery and scorn. Both of that the Romans have done to her kind for centuries. It's a weird thing to harbor resentment over; most of the Welsh people have moved on, but Regina is an exception to that.
She's been taught to think like that by Myrddin. ]
They're in every aspect of the world. Every grain in the wood, to the green in the leaf. It is they who breathed life into the world and the very notion of the lack of absence of them is to say that there is no life in the world.
[ That is, of course, blasphemy to someone like her; without it, the very existence of Awen wouldn't be. The world would be pretty dull.
Though interestingly enough, Regina doesn't argue against the dirt part, but if anything- ]
The very word "druid" comes from "oak"; don't be silly.

[ He tears part of the meat from the rest, grinding it between perhaps too sharp death. He looks bored, lazy, uncaring to how his words could be offending. If she is going to strike him he'll think it's fun, get excited and liven up. It's been months since he had a good fight. ]
The might be still around, doing whatever gods do, but the humans don't think so.
Fine then. [ Michael screws up his face, sticking his tongue out at her briefly. ] Live in trees.

[ Although, it may take more than that for her to strike him, should the right nerve be struck. She needs to conserve energy, sadly. ]
Hold your tongue -- I am certainly not human. Do not lump me in with such delicate beings.

Didn't say you. [ Hand waves about, lazily motioning towards her. ] You don't smell human, don't look it. Too tall, they'd try to lynch you for that alone.

Such a thing would be an unsuccessful endeavor. Height is more than just one advantage that I have.
no subject
I want to see them try now.

[ She hates to eat people, but sometimes people need that reminder if she gets angered enough, yes, that's a strong possibility. ]
no subject
You eat people?

[ YOU WANNA GO ]

[ this guy has literally no self-preservation instinct. ]

[ Hey, it's better to know that she's unstable, flesh-eating monster off the bat than to proceed to provoke her. She hates to lose that control. ]
no subject
[ A heavy pause, he chews and chews and chews and─ ]
What do they taste like? People.

[ Calm. She has to be calm. Even that riles her demonic urges that she keeps at bay. ]
