Are you late with a Christmas present for your friends and loved ones because you wanted to get them something special? Do you want a little something for yourself? In that case, worry no longer! The Winter Holiday Auction is here to fulfill all your money-spending needs. All you have is to sign up for the auction and make sure you follow the dress code. NOTE: Since this involves hypnotism and coercion and such, triggers may be abound!

Men and women, androids and tentacle monsters, any living creature capable of pleasing you can be purchased in this place! Dressed in nothing but holiday ribbons, maybe equipped with obedience collars or hypnotized, drugged, persuaded until they can think of nothing more than fulfilling your desires. And just think of it: all you have to do is to make a high enough bet to beat anyone else. If that isn't the best way to show them how much you want them, what is? (You could also have them being auctioned as a date or a something more harmless!!)

Just remember: whether you're here to buy a slave, a toy, a lover or a friend, you should be prepared to pay accordingly!

GUIDELINES!!

Post with your characters and list them as a BIDDER (whom 'items' or other bidders can reply to) or an ITEM up for auction. You don't actually have to outbid anyone or even be totally under the 'sway'; if you have an idea of how the 'items' were coerced or tricked, go with it! You can also have your character be 'won' by more than one person, and bidders can say they outbid some nameless NPCs.

[He's wearing a collar and has a slightly drugged glaze to his eyes. As Issei approaches, he looks up and blinks slowly, frowning like his thoughts are sluggish]

Ithhei...?

It's me. ...No, actually, make that four thousand yen.

[That had not been a very reassuring response.]

[Someone is watching this from a distance. She just saw who was up for auction and she'll be damned if this human will get her helmsman.]

Ten thousand yen! [She doesn't know what yen is but she has enough gold and jewels that she's sure it'll cover anything.]

[He winces at that.]

Twelve thousand!

[She grin is shark-like.]

Eighteen thousand!

[He has a savings account... how much was in there, again? He's been saving up for years in case of emergencies...]

Twenty-five thousand.

Thirty thousand.

How much money are you going to spend on tormenting him?!

[Sollux merely watches until the Condesce' attention seems to be distracted, and the auctioneer gestures to Issei that he's won. Then he lifts his chained arms a bit, reaching for Issei.]

[Sollux is getting hugged.]

A-are you going to be okay? What did they do to you?

[He shivers in Issei's grasp, clinging to his shirt]

Drugth... and my powerth are blocked.

I belong to you... [He gets up obediently and the auctioneer moves to unlock the chains on his feet so he can walk]

That's not reassuring. [Once everything's unlocked, he rubs at his wrists where chains were, trying to bring back circulation.]

I'm thorry. [He hangs his head slightly, standing motionless as Issei chafes his wrists] I thought I wath going to go to a ship.

Well, you're not. You're going to go home with me and I'm going to make sure you get a good meal and a good night's rest.

[Cringes a little] Thank you...

[Issei leads him away, out of the crowd, out of sight of anything to do with the auction.]

Uh. [He clings to Issei's sleeve as they walk, shying away from anyone they pass. He's not entirely sure this is what he's supposed to be doing, but Issei bought him fair and square, so he supposes it's right] Becauthe you own me now?

I rescued you through the quickest available means. I don't want to be your master or anything like that...

[Silent for a moment. Disappointment.] Then you're giving me to thomeone?
