"...Huh. I didn't see it coming either." Gabriel keeps himself parked on the bed, snapping a chocolate milkshake into existence to sip at.

[huntsdemons]

"Not sure if it was a convenience thing or if they're actually like..a couple or something. They'll tell me when and if they want. I mean it's not like we're keeping our thing a secret." Dean muses as he reads through some newspaper articles.

"This looks promising....I think her daughter is actually here in town."

[lotsoflaughs]

"Well, that saves you some travel time that would become even longer due to not being able to drive as a cat." At which point, either Gabriel would be taking over driving or just keeping Dean busy with more catnip.

[huntsdemons]

"Yeah. Thankfully. Just gotta find her. Guess I got some leg work to do."

[lotsoflaughs]

"Want me to keep an ear out to make sure you don't get in over your head and end up a cat permanently or something?"

[huntsdemons]

"You can come with me if you want too. Backup is always a good thing with witches. You might wanna look more like law enforcement though...people usually are more cooperative when they think we're FBI or something."

[lotsoflaughs]

"What, you wanna make me actually dress up in a suit and all that crap?" He mostly complaining for the hell of it. Wouldn't be the first time he's changed to clothes he wouldn't normally wear for a role.

[huntsdemons]

"Then don't come." Dean says simply as he gets up to go put on his own suit. He honestly wasn't in the mood to deal with Gabe's theatrics, he was more worried about getting this taken care of before moonrise and he turned into a cat again.

"Touchy, touchy." Gabriel finishes his milkshake and snaps it away. There's another snap of his fingers as he stands and he's wearing a suit.

He spreads his arms slightly, showing it off. "Happy now?"

[huntsdemons]

Dean comes out of the bathroom in his own suit and grins. "Ecstatic. Let's go." He grabs his bag and laptop then grabs his keys before heading to the door.

Gabriel rolls his eyes as he follows Dean. The things he puts up with. "If she decides to be a pain in the ass, I should be able to handle it fairly easily."

[huntsdemons]

"I appreciate it, honestly. I'll make it up to you later if you want." Dean grins at him as they get in the Impala and pull out of the motel lot.

[lotsoflaughs]

"Uh-huh, sure. And what are you figuring would work?" Gabriel's already over it, but hey, if Dean wants to do something...

[huntsdemons]

"With the witch or with you?" Dean asks as he drives towards what looks like an older part of the town. It's rundown and old looking, the buildings are in poor shape...except for one. "That house is where the witch lived...and according to what I found, her daughter should live....there." He said pointing to a house down the street and on the right. The only other decent looking property in the area.

"I wanna talk to the locals again before I go in...I want more info."

[lotsoflaughs]

"With me," Gabriel says, scanning their surroundings, both on the physical and metaphysical levels. "Wardings and so on on the dead witch's house have pretty much faded. The ones on the other house are fine. You'd think they'd pick a better part of town, since the houses being in good shape stick out like an eyesore."

[huntsdemons]

"Little this, little that." Dean grins over at him because he's not going to talk about it. He wants it to be a surprise.

"Yeah, you would think huh? Not sure why they did it honestly. It could be that the two of them have just killed everything between the two houses. Black magic does that when there's a high concentration. Thanks for telling me about the wards...that's good to know." He pulls up to the sidewalk once they reach the other side of town that's better kept.

"No problem. You hauling me along, then?" Not that he really expects the answer to be 'no'. Well, this should be fun.

[huntsdemons]

"If you want to come." Dean says as he opens the door and steps out. "Or you can wait in the car." He wiggled his eyebrows. "But if her daughter is in town, you might spot her before I do."

Gabriel gets out his side of the car, pushing down the lock before closing the door. "Let's try to make this speedy."

Then he smirks. "Think I've got a faster eye at seeing pretty women than you?"

[huntsdemons]

"I think you can see things that I can't." Dean grouses and gives him a sidelong look. "You can just make women when you want them, do you honestly look at real people anymore?

Gabriel arches an eyebrow at Dean. "Says the person I've been sleeping with when he's human-shaped."

[huntsdemons]

Dean glances at Gabriel a bit shocked. "I know we sometimes sleep together but I'm not naive enough to think that I'm the only one you're seeing. Unless...I am?" Warning bells are going off in his head. He seriously hopes the answer to that is no because if it's not then it's borderline relationship and Dean Winchester does NOT do relationships. Ever. They always end in disaster or death. He doesn't want either of those.

Gabriel rolls his eyes. "Unknot your panties, Winchester. There are times when I want to get laid with a real woman. Which you are not."

[huntsdemons]

"Thank God." Dean breathes out a breath he wasn't aware he was holding. He didn't even bother to comment on the panties thing because well....reasons.

He turned towards a diner and opened the door, motioning Gabe inside. Following he led the way towards the counter where a grey haired older woman, a waitress, was standing. "Good afternoon Ma'am. I'm Agent Gibson, this is my partner Agent Fender. I was in here yesterday, spoke with a woman named Kate about all the mysterious deaths of young women in town. I was wondering if you might have anything to add." From there Dean spoke with both the waitress and several other patrons gathering more intel about the disappearances and murders. Then he started to ask a few questions about the two houses among the dying part of town. Most people shyed away from talking about it, almost as if they were being compelled to ignore such a thing existed.

Gabriel mostly stays quiet, keeping an eye on things and taking in what was--and wasn't--said. When they reach the point of people talking around things, he frowns slightly and waits for a free moment between people. "The daughter worked a spell to keep people from noticing her place too much."
