On Your Doorstep

On Your Doorstep
They ended up on your doorstep, quite literally. Bloody, possibly. Bruised, most definitely, though the wounds may be mental. You probably don't know them from Adam, yet you couldn't find it in you to turn them away - whether they wanted you to or not. So you opened up your home, just for a little while.
But it's getting to be more than a little while. Both of you are finding a comfort zone, because you didn't simply open up your home. Admit it or don't, but you've opened up your heart all the same.
Their's is slowly following, if its reluctant at all.
1. Comment with your character, preferences, & what role you'd like to play.
2. Tag others.
3. Thread

A few hours.
[There really was no need to lie. Rihan tended to not care too much if his nature or line of work got found out. While he did appear fully human at the moment, he could as well ignore to keep that veil up. Like he could just straight out say that his guest had ended up in the middle of the Nura Gumi. The biggest yakuza group of the Kanto area.]

Oro? Are you sure? I thank you for your help but my injuries weren't something that could heal so quickly.
[He knew asking if he was sure seemed silly but it was more polite than informing him that he must be wrong, even while knowing that wasn't something you were wrong about.]

[And now it had passed over to evening. A few hours. However Rihan fully understood where the doubt and confusion came from. It should not be possible to heal what would take day in just some hours.]
Your injuries needed some intense care or you might have ended up dangerously close to death.

But that kind of care isn't possible in such a short time. [Kenshin knew there were various techniques that made impossible things seem possible but as far as he knew, and he admittedly wasn't a doctor, medicine was medicine. Medicines and techniques did help but nothing like the miracle his host was describing.]

[Rihan calmly lifted his cup to his lips and took a sip like they were having a conversation of something much more mundane and not impossible feats of healing. Honestly to him this was perfectly normal. He had grown up with his gift of healing and seen his mother use it multiply times.]
You got lucky collapsing outside of my home. Nowhere else would you have gotten treatment like this.

What is your technique?
[There was nothing normal about this to Kenshin. Useful, yes, but not normal.]

[And there would be no increase in pain as no numbing medicines had been used.]
I just used the divine powers I got from my mother. Certainly not as strong as hers, but still strong.
