On Your Doorstep

On Your Doorstep

They ended up on your doorstep, quite literally. Bloody, possibly. Bruised, most definitely, though the wounds may be mental. You probably don't know them from Adam, yet you couldn't find it in you to turn them away - whether they wanted you to or not. So you opened up your home, just for a little while.

But it's getting to be more than a little while. Both of you are finding a comfort zone, because you didn't simply open up your home. Admit it or don't, but you've opened up your heart all the same.

Their's is slowly following, if its reluctant at all.

1. Comment with your character, preferences, & what role you'd like to play.

2. Tag others.

3. Thread

[For the moment, he's just so relieved to be out of that dangerous situation. He really was desperate, and because of that he doesn't regret this decision, but...

That said, it's just as awkward now. He didn't know what kind of person he might encounter through his last ditch effort, and in the heat of the moment, it didn't matter. But after having been pulled inside to safety without a single word to question the situation, he can't help but feel guilty. It's not like he's deliberately deceiving, but this guy here must undoubtedly think he's just saved some young girl from trouble. (And it pains him to admit that he looks convincingly girly enough to fool absolutely anyone.)

So how should he proceed from here? Should he come clean now? It's embarrassing having to admit it, especially when he has no means of changing clothes at this point... And on top of that, when it comes down to it, he still has his pride which doesn't allow him to yield so easily. Torn between how to respond and how to act, he clutches the ends of his skirt as he looks aside, naturally avoiding eye contact.]

I'm really sorry about this...

[Like really really. For so many reasons. More than he can possibly express.]
