On Your Doorstep

On Your Doorstep
They ended up on your doorstep, quite literally. Bloody, possibly. Bruised, most definitely, though the wounds may be mental. You probably don't know them from Adam, yet you couldn't find it in you to turn them away - whether they wanted you to or not. So you opened up your home, just for a little while.
But it's getting to be more than a little while. Both of you are finding a comfort zone, because you didn't simply open up your home. Admit it or don't, but you've opened up your heart all the same.
Their's is slowly following, if its reluctant at all.

2. Tag others.

And that works!
one more stamp on his frequent hospitalization card. Two more and he gets a free ambulance ride~!Assuming he was just out and about, then suddenly YB took over, then suddenly whoops that didn't go well at all?]no subject

There was almost never any warning to these sorts of things. Just a sudden jerk, much like waking up suddenly, as he simply was no longer where he had been before.
...but most of the time he was at least somewhere...
At the moment, he wasn't quite sure where he was. Which in itself wasn't that unusual, but there was something a good deal more surreal about this than just waking up in a random store. Or on the dock. Or on the back of someone's motorcycle. Or... wherever that duel had been being held.
...okay, maybe surreal was starting to become normal as well. But there was still something more to this... lack of place that he had found himself.

This isn't the first time the Spirit has returned to the Ring after a failure; it is, however, the first time he's felt a new soul (not that of Zorc, not that of the Thief) within it. Immediately, he reaches out his own soul to wrap around and choke the intruder, fully intending on suffocating them before they can cause any damage - but he pauses at the familiarity of it. This was...
...Well. Clearly, Bakura's body had given up on them before the Spirit could push Bakura's soul back into it. Not a mistake the Spirit would make again.
I am assuming YB hasn't properly materialized yet
Only to pull back almost as soon as it had begun, leaving him paranoid and confused as he looked wildly around to try and find even a hint as to what had just happened.
...there was a feeling that hadn't been there before as well... something...
"...Is someone there...?" he called timidly, hand over his chest.
it is his Ring he will play hide and seek if he wants to
The confusion emanating from Bakura's soul is enough to grate on the Spirit's nerves, though, and it's with an abrupt use of his will that he manifests a form that is a double of Bakura's. He makes sure it's crisp and clear, to the point where it almost looks more like Bakura than Bakura does. His hand (pale, slim, an exact replica of the body he's locked out from) comes to rest on a hip that only exists for as long as he cares to will it to, and there's no attempt to disguise the annoyance in the Spirit's expression.
"You've wound up somewhere you shouldn't be." Granted, not by his own fault--the only reason he hasn't been ruthlessly locked aside just yet.

"You... the Ring's voice...?"
There was no other possibility. That tone was one that had burned itself into his memory from the first time he had heard it, the near exact replica of his own voice, twisted into something darker. Even if it was more irritated than triumphant, it was unmistakable.
For a brief moment, he couldn't help but think of that moment in Monster World, but this was different. The Spirit before him was calm, looking almost like a perfect reflection than the way its possession had changed his expression before.
...which meant the truce was still in effect, right?
"...Did something happen?" If they were both in the same place... he must be unconscious, right? Since neither of them were in control...
