On Your Doorstep

On Your Doorstep
They ended up on your doorstep, quite literally. Bloody, possibly. Bruised, most definitely, though the wounds may be mental. You probably don't know them from Adam, yet you couldn't find it in you to turn them away - whether they wanted you to or not. So you opened up your home, just for a little while.
But it's getting to be more than a little while. Both of you are finding a comfort zone, because you didn't simply open up your home. Admit it or don't, but you've opened up your heart all the same.
Their's is slowly following, if its reluctant at all.

Re: Malcolm Meryln l Arrow l ota
Rebecca had been back in town for a few weeks, getting the lay of the land, so to speak, and what a land it was. It hurt her heart to see what had happened to her beloved clinic, and the glades as a whole. It had taken her years to feel fully functional again, and many hours of training and rehab.
She watched as Oliver and another man, left the roof, creeping out, and going to her husband's side.
"What have you done my love?"

Malcolm was trying to raise himself up and move but his body was weakened after the battle with Tommy and then Oliver. His head spun and for a second just one he swore he heard the voice of his beloved wife. "What I had to do," he mutters his voice shattered, "I failed you...the Glades failed you...they had to pay."

Malcolm tried to focus tried to think of where his son would go and what he would do after he learned the truth and it still hadn't sunk in that he wasn't alone anymore. "Laurel," he gasped out, "she works at a law office in the Glades...I can't....remember where it is. If she's there he'd try to get to her."
He felt a heavy sense of dread and pain as he realized what he'd just done by setting off the second device.
