it doesn't matter whether or not you've always been a decent person. it doesn't even matter if you're always the hero. suddenly, and perhaps without explanation, you are consumed with a blood-boiling desire to cause pain. chaos, destruction, bloodshed - suddenly these are the only things you can see. it doesn't matter if it's friend or foe you're faced with. you have but one driving desire: bloodshed. you don't just want to fight to the death. you wanna win. and you're going to.

or perhaps you are the unsuspecting victim, sitting with your friend - who you think is completely harmless, of course - and then there's a knife at your throat. or teeth.

now what?

HOW TO:
1.) post a blank comment with your character's name and fandom, along with your preferences.
2.) or head over to RNG, find out whether you're the victim or the assailant, and tag around or start your toplevel with one of the prompts below!
3.) PROFIT.

OPTIONS - scenario;
1.) OUTRIGHT MURDER - the assailant has no intention of allowing time for there to be a struggle. short, sweet, and shall we say, to the point?
2.) FIGHT FOR YOUR LIFE - assailant and victim struggle for power, for who will win - or perhaps the playing field is completely leveled, and both are struggling with the urge to kill each other.
3.) RAMPAGE - this particular assailant/victim relationship isn't the first; in fact, it's likely that several dozens have died at the hands of this crazed maniac. the victim in this situation is likely just an unfortunate bystander getting caught up in the string of murders.
4.) CHAOS & DESTRUCTION - why stop at simply killing people? take some buildings out while you're at it! what we need here is some panic!!
5.) SHIT LIST - the assailant is on a mission to take out a set list of people, and the victim is on it. maybe they just hate the victim's guts. maybe they're on a quest for revenge.
6.) SHH, IT'LL ALL BE OVER SOON - the assailant has planned this very meticulously. it's been a long, drawn out process. the time has finally come to end the captivity and the torture and just cut to the chase - or through the jugular.
7.) CHOOSE YOUR OWN (MIS)ADVENTURE - wildcard. make up your own scenario!

Of course things broke down when Teddy and Billy tried a truce. They'd tried to spend time together, to sway one another to their respective sides, but they were already too far apart. They each had adopted a shifting ideal of morality, and the schism grew ever wider.

And though there'd been glimpses of the real Billy, his future successes drove him ever deeper into his obsessive quest to cleanse the world. As he grew more powerful, he lost still more touch with reality. Though he had yet to grow so strong that he was able to simply erase someone, those in his presence never seemed the same when he was done with them.

As he'd done before, Teddy volunteered himself to confront Billy when a confrontation was ready. He was confident that their earlier discussions would be honored, that Billy would never hurt him even as things went from bad to worse.

By now, Teddy too had grown harder. It was difficult to permanently wound someone with his physiology, but not impossible. After a battle against one of Billy's underlings (he called them 'friends,' but he was just deluding himself), Teddy lost the function of one eye, damage cauterized and seared in such a way even his body hadn't been able to heal. It ruined him for espionage missions, as the opaque white eye could never be adjusted into something else. Despite Billy's lack of presence there, Teddy interpreted it as a sign. The gloves were off. There was never to be a "them" again. This mess should've never been allowed to get this big in the first place.

And now he stood at the edge of a bright white energy field, teeth clenched. This was it. One way or the other, things ended tonight.

"Magic's not going to help you out of this one, Wiccan. Get out here and face me like a man."
