the ☠ VIOLENT URGES ☠ meme

it doesn't matter whether or not you've always been a decent person. it doesn't even matter if you're always the hero. suddenly, and perhaps without explanation, you are consumed with a blood-boiling desire to cause pain. chaos, destruction, bloodshed - suddenly these are the only things you can see. it doesn't matter if it's friend or foe you're faced with. you have but one driving desire: bloodshed. you don't just want to fight to the death. you wanna win. and you're going to. or perhaps you are the unsuspecting victim, sitting with your friend - who you think is completely harmless, of course - and then there's a knife at your throat. or teeth. now what?

HOW TO: 1.) post a blank comment with your character's name and fandom, along with your preferences. 2.) or head over to RNG, find out whether you're the victim or the assailant, and tag around or start your toplevel with one of the prompts below! 3.) PROFIT.

OPTIONS - role; 1.) VICTIM 2.) ASSAILANT OPTIONS - scenario; 1.) OUTRIGHT MURDER - the assailant has no intention of allowing time for there to be a struggle. short, sweet, and shall we say, to the point? 2.) FIGHT FOR YOUR LIFE - assailant and victim struggle for power, for who will win - or perhaps the playing field is completely leveled, and both are struggling with the urge to kill each other. 3.) RAMPAGE - this particular assailant/victim relationship isn't the first; in fact, it's likely that several dozens have died at the hands of this crazed maniac. the victim in this situation is likely just an unfortunate bystander getting caught up in the string of murders. 4.) CHAOS & DESTRUCTION - why stop at simply killing people? take some buildings out while you're at it! what we need here is some panic!! 5.) SHIT LIST - the assailant is on a mission to take out a set list of people, and the victim is on it. maybe they just hate the victim's guts. maybe they're on a quest for revenge. 6.) SHH, IT'LL ALL BE OVER SOON - the assailant has planned this very meticulously. it's been a long, drawn out process. the time has finally come to end the captivity and the torture and just cut to the chase - or through the jugular. 7.) CHOOSE YOUR OWN (MIS)ADVENTURE - wildcard. make up your own scenario!

[RIn's never really thought twice about going for a run by himself. More often than not, he'd rather jog by himself than with anyone else. Especially given his state of mind in the last few months.

No one's ever given him reason to feel like he should be careful, so it only makes sense that RIn doesn't pay much mind to his surroundings more than he does during the day. He's aware of several things all at once--but it's the usual details, like the temperature that sneaks in under his shirt collar even with the jacket of his warmups covering him. Or the orange cast that the streetlights spill all over the concrete as he moves along.

Rin has one earbud of his headphones in, the other one out, and he's jogging along the side of the street with his eyes mostly focused on the street in front of him. So the first thing he sees is a man, looking strangely out of place.

Something shifts uncomfortably inside of him, and he slows down a little. That lasts about four or five seconds before he picks the pace back up again, feeling ridiculous.

(( I've got some info in the journal, but short story is he's a Demon God that's the embodiment of fear. Very into torture and killing, lots of weird powers. As a monster huntress, seems like they'd clash, so I was thinking something like Asura has her captured, uses his mind powers to torment her between physical torture sessions, ends in death. Good for you? ))
