minor injury meme.

You or your meme partner has been hurt, but don't worry! This time around it's not that bad. You can still limp your way out of this mess.
INJURIES.
1. Sprain/strain. How did you screw up walking?
2. Broken bones. Simple fractures still hurt.
3. Cuts. Hopefully one of you has a sewing kit.
4. Burns. Location, location, location. Let's pray this one isn't on your ass.
5. Concussion. No, they're most likely not holding up fifteen fingers.
6. Other. I'm not a doctor.
HOW'D IT HAPPEN.
1. Stupidity. You did this to yourself.
2. Accident. Is an unintentional attack still an attack?
3. Attack. Don't lie, you deserved it.
4. Other. It's probably still your own fault.
WHERE'D IT HAPPEN.
1. Home. Did you remember to invest in a first aid kit?
2. School/Work. This should be excellent for getting you out of doing stuff!
3. Outdoors. Predators like the smell of blood. Clean up asap.
4. In the water. Hopefully there aren't any sharks!
5. Other. Like a hospital. That'd be handy.

[Because Roddy didn't believe for a second that the werewolf was gone for good. He attacked once, he'd probably attack again, and with how quickly werewolves could recover...well, he just hoped they'd have a chance to get out of there and get some help before he came back to finish the job.]
no subject
His question, at first, went over her head, then she came back to herself.] Uncle Barnabas? I mean, I don't know...I suppose so. I never really talked this kind of shit over with him, you know? We can ask him when we get back, I mean---you know, when the sun goes down.
[Once she got to her spot, she stopped to pull out of her shirt, and skirt combo. Then she was pulling on her stockings and shoes. Once she was dressed, she was ready to go inside.] Come on, first things first. Clean you up.
no subject
[And that...wouldn't work out well. His father was protective of him, but he was a reinigen, too, and there was no way a rat was going to win a fight against a wolf.]
no subject
Plus, there was a big space between herself and her uncle. He was from 200 years prior, and she was a teenager that came from a 70's state of mind. Their paths barely crossed, so to speak.]
Of course, I get it. I don't want your dad coming up here anyway. Don't need this coming out to being a rescue event for any of us. I gotta tell my mom, most definitely, especially because of David.
[She stopped for a moment to look him over really quickly, wanting to make sure his arm was getting better.] How does your arm feel right now?
no subject
[As for it's arm...well, nothing had changed in the time they were talking, but that was normal. Reinigen couldn't heal like werewolves. At least he wasn't losing much blood, though, since the majority of the wounds he'd gotten in the fight were covered up by his human skin, but they'd start bleeding again if he changed.]
It really fucking stings, but that's kind of expected when a werewolf just took a gauge out of my arm.
[Then, as they kept going, he saw the house.]
Come on, let's get inside.
[Once they were inside, he'd feel safer. Once they were inside he'd know they weren't about to be attacked again.]

[His comment about it stinging made her turn to kiss his cheek quickly. Then they were close to the house, and she could only rush forward.
She got inside the house, and closed and locked the door rather quickly. Checking the window to make sure they weren't followed. Then she was off to the bathroom to grab the first aide kit.] Take a seat. [She said softly once she got back out to the kitchen proper. A small, grim smile on her lips.] This might hurt. [She said quietly as she took alcohol and a cloth to clean up the blood, and dirt from the wound.]
no subject
[He knew exactly who she was talking about now. This was just the first time she'd used her name. Once they got inside, he took a seat at her request, cringing slightly at the sting of the alcohol. He woged. Returning to the form he'd gotten the cuts in caused many of the wounds to become visible again.]
Should probably be like this, at least until the cuts are cleaned up. I don't really heal, the cuts just move under the skin when I woge.
no subject
[When he woged out again, she freaked on the inside a bit because she wasn't sure what was happening. Then he was explaining it to her, and Carolyn relaxed completely.]
Oh, okay. If my mom comes into the room, I am going to have to explain rather quickly, but it should be okay. I didn't know about your injuries though, that is interesting.
no subject
[It still seemed weird to him that her mother knew what she was, yet there would still be any need to do any explaining at all when it came to him. Granted, there were things he didn't tell his dad, too, and a big part of the difference was likely because his dad could smell just as well as he could, so there wasn't much point in trying to hide it.]
I mean, she knows you're a werewolf, so it's not like this'll be much weirder, right?
no subject
[Because she didn't want to offend him, but she would not know how to explain what she meant 100 percent correctly. She just hoped he understood that she might get a little shocked by it, but to not take it badly.]
It's not a bad thing.
no subject
[She just meant he wasn't the sort of thing they expected to see. He didn't take any offense at that; he wasn't the sort of thing most people expected to see.]
I'll change back right away once I'm cleaned up.
no subject
Whoa, wait. If you change back, won't you wind up hurting yourself again? I mean, won't all of this be for nothing, or...well?
[She didn't want to him to rush to do something only to hurt himself instead.]
no subject
"No, it's not like that. The wounds aren't reopening, exactly, it's more like...I've got two skins, and it's switching which is on top. The cut'll heal at the rate normal cuts always heal, whether they're under a layer of human skin or not, but stuff like cleaning them won't really go away, and I'm not really hurting myself again."
He just wasn't covering up what injuries had already occurred.
no subject
"I had no idea, I guess we never sat down to talk to each other about our changes, and what we are, and how it makes us up? You know? I would like to know more, I really would," she said plainly, honestly.
"On a different note, we have got a while until the sun sets. Are you hungry? We can make something, take it up to my room while we wait?"
no subject
His dad wasn't going to be going out that night, after all, and knowing there was a Grimm living in the same city as them made him jumpy. Not that that ever stopped Roddy from sneaking out at night when he wanted to, but when he did that, he usually at least made sure his dad saw him come home.
"And are you done with the...wound stuff?"
no subject
"Yeah, you are all cleaned up. Just, try not to do anything that will reopen those wounds," she gently chided with a wink.
Once everything was cleaned up, she began to search through the refrigerator for something to eat.
no subject
He made a quick call, saying he'd be out with friends for the night, and yeah, he'd be careful and everything would be fine. After his dad gave his okay, he said his goodbyes and hung up the phone.
"I'm good for tonight," he called out.
no subject
Then it was a flurry of movement to gather cutlery, and plates, bread was last. She just started making her first sandwich when he hung up the phone.
"Everything go okay?" she asked a bit absently.
no subject
Not with werewolves out...well, dangerous ones, anyway. He reached over for the bread to start making his own sandwich.
no subject
He reached for his own bread, so Carolyn finished putting mayo onto her own bread, then handed over the butter knife. "Here you go," she said as she leaned closer to press a quick kiss to his cheek.
no subject
Taking the sandwich fixings, he started to make his own sandwich, a smile flashing across his lips when she kissed him.
no subject
Once she was done, she slid back, and away from him to finish up her sandwich. Once it was done, she grabbed some plates, and some chips to put on their plates as something else to munch on. Since she was finished, she sat back to watch him work, nibbling on chips as they talked.
no subject
And she was right. Granted, there were always the 'what ifs', but there was really no reason to worry. He finished up the sandwich fairly quickly, reaching over to take one of the plates to put it on, and as he leaned in, he gave her a peck on the cheek. Hey, he might as well return one of the kisses he was getting.
no subject
Thinking then he might wonder why she is making kissing noises at him, she might as well just tell him straight up. "I want a real kiss on the lips, damn it," she said in a cheerful tone of voice. "I am glad you are here, by the by, and not still out there. I am glad I could step in, I would have hated if something happened to you, Roddy. I love you," and without realizing it, she finally said how she had been feeling for him for a while now.
no subject
And he leaned in, giving her a full kiss on the lips. He lingered there for a bit, before pulling away. "And I'm glad you didn't get hurt. And I'm definitely glad you showed up because there was no way I was winning that fight."
