minor injury meme.

You or your meme partner has been hurt, but don't worry! This time around it's not that bad. You can still limp your way out of this mess.
INJURIES.
1. Sprain/strain. How did you screw up walking?
2. Broken bones. Simple fractures still hurt.
3. Cuts. Hopefully one of you has a sewing kit.
4. Burns. Location, location, location. Let's pray this one isn't on your ass.
5. Concussion. No, they're most likely not holding up fifteen fingers.
6. Other. I'm not a doctor.
HOW'D IT HAPPEN.
1. Stupidity. You did this to yourself.
2. Accident. Is an unintentional attack still an attack?
3. Attack. Don't lie, you deserved it.
4. Other. It's probably still your own fault.
WHERE'D IT HAPPEN.
1. Home. Did you remember to invest in a first aid kit?
2. School/Work. This should be excellent for getting you out of doing stuff!
3. Outdoors. Predators like the smell of blood. Clean up asap.
4. In the water. Hopefully there aren't any sharks!
5. Other. Like a hospital. That'd be handy.

Pikachu gives a confidence response. Of course they have!
"Ehhhh, really? I didn't know you battled, Professor! I wanna see 'em!" He's not even going to ask about the other leagues he and Gary have been in. Seeing the Professor battle sounds a lot more interesting to him at the moment.

Maybe Ash would like to see that Growlithe, too; it must be in better shape by now, with Tracey taking care of it. At least he knows its injuries weren't anything his assistant couldn't handle, or he would have asked for his help by now.

He would be more than happy to see the Growlithe though to make sure that it's okay. Maybe even help find its owner later once he's gotten a little rest.

"I'll take the crutches," He can move around a little more with those instead of just sitting. At least that's his logic.

"Have you used one of these before?"
no subject
"I've seen others use 'em but I've never used them myself."

He's already not looking forward to going home with the crutches to begin with, after all.
no subject
"Ready to give it a try?"
no subject
Well, one of his feet. He takes the crutches again and plants the end on the ground before standing up and putting them under his armpits like Professor Oak showed him. He then starts to go forward with the crutches, realizing this is a little more difficult than it looked.
"This is kinda hard, Professor."

"I think I'm gettin' the hang of it..." Not completely, but his last couple steps were better than his first couple. And he hasn't fallen yet, which is also a good thing.

"I'll havta crawl?" Sounds like he'll be crawling to his room tonight. Though hopefully, home will be the only place where he'll be crawling.

Pikachu will happily accept being picked up by Professor Oak. Much easier to hear them when he's at the same level and not on the ground.

NPC'ing Tracey briefly~
Sam goes to hold out a chair for Ash; at least the Growlithe seems to just be asleep now, rather than knocked out.
Traceey~
"So is it okay, Professor? What did Tracey say."
no subject
"And he was right. Feel, Ash." Though not visible under all that fur, the Pokemon's ribs are able to be felt quite well. The poor thing is half-starved.

His eyes widen a little themselves before he pulling his hand away. Even he could get the idea of what was wrong, and his face shows how bad he feels. It must have been attacking the Rattatas because it was probably desperate for any food that the small rat Pokemon might have had. If only he had noticed then he would have tried to bring it to the Professor without knocking it unconscious.
"You'll be able to help it, right?"
no subject
"Yes, I have soft food that should be easy on its stomach. I'll make sure Growlithe gets back on its feet, you did the right thing bringing it here." He looks down at Growlithe again, lip curling in disgust. But it's not the Pokemon that he's disgusted at.
"Growlithe aren't wild around here, and Tracey confirmed that it's not one of mine. Either it traveled far to get here, or it has a human to take care of it." Under a very loose definition of 'take care', considering its current state. "If someone let their Pokemon get to this state, or even did this on purpose..." Sam growls at the very thought. He is not an aggressive man, and certainly not violent. But moments like this make him almost consider it. "I'll check with our local authorities, see if anyone has a pet Growlithe registered."
no subject
"I'll help too, if that's okay. I wanna see this Growlithe get better." Even if there isn't much that he can do if there is anything, anything at all then he'll be willing to do it.
He frowns at the idea of someone allowing their Pokemon to get to this state. Especially if they did it on purpose. In that respect Growlithe reminds him of Pignite when he found it as a Tepig. Abandoned with rope around its snout. Maybe the latter wasn't done on purpose, but the image still causes knots in his stomach.
And that's only one case. Ash has seen many cases on his travels, and it never gets any less upsetting.
"They're not a good trainer if they let this happen to their Pokemon," it's nothing more than a mutter. Really, if they treat their Pokemon like this then they don't even deserve to have Pokemon; even Team Rocket takes care of their Pokemon even though they're an evil team who tries to steal Pokemon.
"If you're gonna check I'll stay here with the Growlithe 'til you get back." Someone should stay and watch it.
