[ They'd been dancing around this forever.

Admittedly, most of it had been Hiei's avoidance or utter ignorance of what the hell all of the fuss was. He wasn't completely ignorant to sex or demon cycles, knowing damn well what breeding season and the rest meant, but up until a few years ago he hadn't really felt any urge to follow through with much of anything. He'd been too focused on training and getting stronger to fuss around breeding or even just getting off. But this time... well, he'd agreed to come to the human world without thinking and that had been the first mistake of this situation. Perhaps not the worst to be made, but it wasn't exactly comfortable to explain to Yuusuke Urameshi why it was, exactly, that he wanted to train alone instead of with him, or why he had been avoiding going to see Kurama, too, while he was there. But that had all come crashing down around him when they had all suddenly appeared at Genkai's temple that morning...
