[Maybe once Christmas was nice, far back when opening Christmas presents mattered. That joy has long since diminished. It's not that her family didn't try, but what true joy could be felt while peering at the man who kills because of you. No, Abigail has she'd all remnants of her childhood.

What makes it even worse now is the social aspect. She stands off to the side with a nonalcoholic beverage in her hand. Maybe Dr. Bloom was right, going into the world is a scary thing. The paranoia is written on her face, but this isn't the first time she's been outside in the world. So she can force a smile.

Abigail is all the more relieved when he comes over, and while the chaste kiss is a surprise, her eyes lift to see the symbolic culprit above them. Oh.
