MORNING AFTER MEME

Last night was pretty wild, or maybe it wasn't. You have just woken up, but you are not alone. Perhaps it is a stranger lying next to you, perhaps it's someone you know. It might be your significant other, or a one night stand. The fact remains that you are in bed together, naked (or maybe not) and something happened.

HOW THIS WORKS;
➊ comment with your character!
➋ reply to others with wild shenanigans.
➌ soap opera drama ensues.
[lovingly stolen from all over the place]
heee yes.
No. I just had a disagreement with gravity, we're good now.
[Just injured pride, that's all. Don't look at him like that, McGee.
And now he twists around to try to orient himself. Pants are...over there. Okay. Shift around, and reach, and...there. Success. Now it's just a matter of untangling himself from the sheet and getting his jeans on. Which is mostly a lot of frantic wiggling because HA like he has enough sense of balance to do it standing.]

I don't think it's ever taken this long to get dressed. [It's about ten seconds, however, before she's heading back to the rest of her clothes, checking the pockets of her jeans to make sure she had everything. And hey, added bonus; a hair elastic. That takes care of her hair. Now...where the fuck are her shoes?]
no subject
...It wasn't that long.
[...Maybe.] It's not like it's a race anyway, as long as we manage to skip Peter on the way out.
no subject
[She's not about to struggle with her shoes, both of them now in her hands. She's pretty much ready to run for it at this point, hangover be damned.]
no subject
I'm just going to say, secret entrance? There needs to be one. Because now would be a great time for using spy tactics, and I'm pretty sure neither of us are qualified.
[But he's going to creep over to the door anyway and poke his head out. Without looking back at her, he waves her over and eases the door open a little further.]
I think the coast's clear.
no subject
[In all seriousness, though. She does like Peter. He was a big help when Charlie'd decided Ed shouldn't be a vampire. Not that she got to do the actual staking but whatever. AND HEY! Lets not think about that right now. Those aren't the happiest of thoughts, even if the ending was ridiculously happy.
Charlie heads over, slipping her hand into his and squeezing gently. She's grinning, practically bouncing out of her skin as she sticks her head out of the door as well. Nothing except for someone who works for Peter running into his room when he yells again. One last look at Ed before she slips past him out the door, trying to move as quietly and as quickly as she can to the elevators.]

Elevator's this way.
[Still moving carefully. Nothing to see here...Peter's yelling again so Charlie decides to run to the elevator, pushing the button repeatedly. Why the fuck was the elevator so slow today oh God.]
no subject
Shit shit shit, go go go you stupid thing, c'mon!
[...There might have actually been a squeak in there somewhere, he wasn't paying attention, he's more focused on the escaping part.
Finally it slides open, and he prods at her back to usher her in, slipping in after her and jamming fingers against the button to close the doors, and now he's just snickering into her shoulder like it's the funniest thing ever but he knows he should still be quiet.]
no subject
When she's settled down enough to breathe, her other arm goes around him and she leans against his shoulder a bit, still smiling.] You alright, gorgeous?
no subject
Funny, I was gonna say that, you're the one with the gigglefit. You had me worried for a minute there.
[...Not really. Highly amused, maybe.]
no subject
And as for the sleep she needs? She's set for loads of sleep and she's hoping Ed will be there. It's kind of nice when he's there. Not to sound creepy but she likes the way his heartbeat sounds and the fact that he now actually breathes while he sleeps. It's oddly comforting. She tilts her head up, kissing him briefly before speaking again.] I don't really feel like I got a whole lot of it last night. What time did we sneak away from everyone else, anyway? I didn't happen to notice.
no subject
Like...1? 2? Maybe? Late. Or...early, I guess. Technically. I don't think either of us got much sleep, between talking and...you know.
[Yep. Apparently he CANNOT SAY IT. De-vampification evidently takes away ALL lack of inhibitions, so welcome to a more awkward and less outrageously vulgar Ed! Who apparently cannot discuss sex things with girls.]
no subject
Good reasons to be awake half the night.
[That's okay, she can't say it right now either. She's still in shock that it actually happened.
Ding! Ground floor; Taxi's, Busses or a fifteen minute walk to Charlie's place await. Which will it be?]
no subject
[Um. Did he say that out loud? MOVING ON.
With the change in angle he plants the next kiss a little higher, but by now the door's open so really they need to be going.
Ffff taxi. You kidding? Like they could make it down the street on their own power. Out to the curb, McGee in tow, a hasty wave-down, and off they go. ...You have money, McGee, right? Because he has like...3 bucks. Tops.]
no subject
How about just no booze next time? I was kind of hoping that was how the first time would go.
[Don't mind Charlie, Ed. She's just going to spend the majority of the taxi ride curled up against you, maybe even tilt her head back enough to kiss whatever part of your neck and face she can reach. And yes, she has money for the taxi. She always has money for taxi rides. Look! Her apartment building. She's payed the driver and at some point managed to put her shoes on and is trying to make her way to her apartment before falling over. You've got her, right Ed?]
no subject
Well we can always pretend. Call a do-over and just...not count it? So next time is the first time. ...And no booze.
[Of course he's got her on the way to the apartment. Arm looped around her waist, the opposite hand trailing against the wall so he's got some kind of guidance system; if she's going down, he is too. Only the plan is obviously to NOT do that. They need to get to the apartment.]
no subject
As much as Charlie sort of hates her tiny apartment, she's never been happier to see it. The door doesn't even stick anymore when she unlocks it and an attempt is made to hang her keys on the hook nearby but she misses. She doesn't seem bothered by this. Instead, her concern is getting Ed in and shutting the door.]
I feel like getting home is just this huge victory, right now.
no subject
Considering it took like...six hours? [...More like one. Maybe.] It's pretty impressive.
[A pause, and he glances around the room like it's the first time he's ever seen the place.]
So...now what?
no subject
no subject
Yeah, that...sounds like a good idea. If only because I'm not sure how much longer you can stay on yours. [Totally about hers. Nothing to do with the fact that NEITHER of them really can independently.
...He'll just wait for her to make the first move in that direction. He can't really remember where the bed is right now, and he's not making the first move towards it anyway.]
no subject
Charlie sits on the end of her bed carefully, pulling Ed down next to her.]
I don't think I'm ever drinking that much again. Ever. [Which probably means no more parties with Peter for a good long while and if she does end up at one, she'll stay near plants or some kind of container that he didn't purchase off of eBay and dump the stuff in there when he's not looking. Her shoes are worked off and she sort of kicks them. Over there. Probably near the closet. She hopes.]
no subject
Don't say that, it always guarantees you will.
[A snicker; don't ask why it's funny, he doesn't really know.]
Plus I think he always knows when you're trying to avoid it. And just tries harder. It's like...his superpower.
no subject
[Charlie stretches out on her side, one arm under her head and a tired smile on her face.] Also, you highly underestimate my stubbornness.
no subject
[You're...moving again. Okay. Ed follows suit, although it's really more of a boneless flop onto his back than a smooth movement; he's done with the catlike shit, even if he has to pay attention to not do it.]
He's like Big Brother. Only real. And...Goth. And a raging alcoholic.
[The quip about her stubbornness gets a doubting smirk though.]
Really.
