[On the bright side, Konoka's aware of supernatural things and thus knows why this woman seems unusual, but what exactly makes her tick is kinda... well, it's tough to figure out. She's seen vampires, ghosts, super revenants, and virtually everything but the garden variety of zombie. Maybe she's overthinking this.]

[ The only awkward part in all of this is everything. So, not too bad.

Jack lies on his side with his staff hugged to his chest, a bare foot casually hooked in the crook down by the end of the plump duvets. He's hardly going to let it go just because he's been relegated into sharing a bed with a stranger (rather the opposite in most cases, in fact) — but right now, he doesn't especially think he would even need to dispose of it.

He isn't staring at her chest, really. It's the ice-shards making it glitter, worn right against her skin that fascinates him. Sure, he has frost over his hoodie (damp sheets, whoops) and flecked around his clothes as it pleases, but he strongly suspects Elsa is wearing actual ice. Frazil plates and elastic Nilas ice curiously coagulated into the shape of garments, to be specific, but that's neither here nor there; his own is a Breccia in nature with some of the frost stains older than others, unlike the pristine state of her corseted gown, and he's never thought about going full fanboy with his abilities. Never wanted to. There's something weird about the way it hugs her, all around her ribs and the swell of a bosom ...

She's not wearing any underwear.

Jack blinks back into the present, abandoning his daydreaming, and coughs as he shifts on the bed, blue eyes swerving up to hers as he gives a chagrined smile. ]

At least the cold isn't a problem, right?

[ He hopes not, because the wall behind him has been covered in fern-frost since the second he lay down and idly rapped his staff against it in boredom. Whatever mild warmth Elsa gives off is chilled immediately on Jack's side of the narrow bed, and he regrets that the best position he's been able to negotiate still leaves one of his frigid knees lodged against hers. ]
