Daddy/Daughter breakfast time!

Loki spots Hela as soon as he walks into the mortal eating establishment and direct as always walks right up and smiles. "Why did you wish to meet here daughter it is a mortal place?"

Hela smiled politely back up at her father from where she sat in the booth, a mug of coffee steaming on the table and a menu in her hands. "I enjoy their omelets. Won't you sit father before you cause a scene, would hate for Uncle to know you're here."

Loki sighs and sits of course she would use Thor against him even though he has no idea where Thor and Jane are currently living. Sift had said nothing when she returned with Aurora. He takes a menu and glances over it. "Is there a point to this?"

"Is there a point to you pretending to be Grandfather?" she counters effortlessly with a disapproving look on her face. "I thought you never truly wanted the throne of Asgard."

[frostedprince]

"I would be locked up faster then the dark elves if I ruled as myself," Loki says, "and Asgard is nothing without her ruler. I thought you would have been pleased."

[hersoulstotake]

"But that doesn't explain why you took Grandfather's throne. If you wanted one so much I would have gladly given you mine." She retorts with a sigh, her menu was placed on the table top a little firmer than she would have liked. "The only thing I am pleased about is not knowing you're in jail again."

"I would not take your throne from you daughter you earned it," Loki says softly, "I took Odin's throne because he was weak and didn't understand the dangers he was placing our people in. He let the dark elves in without blinking an eye. In the old days he never would have risked even letting them loose."

"From what the dead have told me, Heimdall and Odin did everything they could considering it was a surprise attack." Hela remarked before taking a sip of her coffee. "How would you know anything different from your isolation in Asgard's prison?"

"I saw the aftermath....how fiercely mother fought for Thor's human," Loki says not ready to admit to his own guilt when it came to Frigga's death, "they crashed a ship into out home....no one should have been able to do that."

[hersoulstotake]

"And though she misses both her sons, she's very happy in Valhalla." The Queen of the Dead comment, having sent her Grandmother's soul straight there. "The force field surrounding the palace would have had to have been lowered for that to happened, otherwise there would have been a lot more Dark Elves gracing my presence."

"It was but not by me,.,,,a creature was sent ahead to do so....and I may have helped him," Loki says.

[hersoulstotake]

"Father!" She almost yelled at him and getting them noticed by anyone else that had the 3am munchies. "What were you thinking?"

"I let my anger overwhelm me," Loki says guilt coloring his tone, "it was wrong and Frigga paid the price....I will never forgive myself for that."
