It was their second wedding anniversary and Arthur wondered if Ariadne remembered that at all. She had recently been busy with a project at work and had even been taking some of it home to work on on the weekends which Arthur didn't mind at all, of course. He even helped her out a bit where he could. It was a big project which kept her occupied most of the time. Like their first wedding anniversary, they had been so busy planning the big wedding that they just went to a restaurant for dinner in Cape Cod. It was nice, but nothing too special.

Of course, Arthur had planned something for tonight, though he pretended that he had forgotten as well, not making any mention of their anniversary when they woke up and got ready for the day. It was Friday and Ariadne would be leaving for work. He stood at the stove, frying her some bacon while Molly ate her own breakfast.

[ Hair pulled back into a tight ponytail, wide rimmed glasses on her face, and a white lab coat with various splashed of what can only be candy people fluids on it, Bubblegum has obviously been awake far too long, without changing. She's in her room now, retired from her lab for the moment, sitting at her desk in the corner under a single desk light, writing into a thick notebook, while looking at another. Good science needs to be logged and recorded after all, even if every few moments she has to wipe the sleep from her eyes.

She even looks over at her phone, taking a moment to scroll through her conversation with Marceline. Marcy is worried about her, and is coming over right now. The thought makes her anxious, toying with her hair, wondering if she should take a bath or something so that Marceline doesn't think she's gross. But then, the more rational part of her tells her that science is important, and if Marceline can't accept a Bubblegum who works herself to the bone in pursuit of knowledge (sometimes to the detriment of her health) then she doesn't deserve her. ]
