The Sick Day Meme

THE SICK DAY MEME
► Post with your character, name and fandom in the header.
► They are now, for some odd reason, sick (headache, fever, runny nose, cough, whatever you want).
► Another character replies and is struck with the sudden urge to take care of them (bringing them soup, extra blankets, Sudafed, sexual healing, what have you).
► Go from there!

Mrf.
[Because that was an answer.]

She stands up again, starting to push the chair back toward the desk.]
Right...okay, well. Maybe I should let you rest, then. There's a bunch of stuff in the bags...I don't know what they do, but hopefully at least something in there will help.

[She'd brought him stuff? Why had she brought him stuff? What sort of stuff? He made an effort to try to turn his head and look at what seemed like bags on the ground.]
Stuff...?
no subject
[Of course that would bring him around. Go figure.]
I don't know what it does, but there's some medicines in there, like...something called Vapo-Rub, some tissues, a couple of books, a bunch of stuff, Stiles, I don't know.

Should study people stuff. If you have people friends.

[She shrugs again and averts her eyes a little because Stiles is probably right; he usually is. That doesn't mean she likes admitting it.]

Hey, you got the mint ones. I like the mint ones.

And cherry. And honey and lemon. And I think also something called Tropical Wave. What the hell do they do, anyway? Is this sick people candy? I don't get it.
no subject
[Not that he was at the coughing stage or the sore throat stage, though he was starting to get a bit raw from throwing up.]
no subject
[She makes a face at him, even though her tone is serious; she literally doesn't understand the concept of small candy-looking pieces of whatever they actually are being at all conducive to make someone better.]

Sorry.
[She isn't; she's glad there's no werewolf flu, thank you very much.]
Is there anything I can do to help? Honestly?

[He shifted on the bed a little, trying to move onto his side so he could look at her without his head spinning.]
no subject
Only if it hurts. I can take that...
no subject
[It did hurt. It hurt a lot. But her taking it would just mean she'd be in pain and as much as maybe it was a little bit her fault... he didn't hold it against her. Not like that.]
I can take it.
no subject
Liar. I'm sorry if this is because of the rain...
no subject
[He reaches up a hand to grab her wrist, eyes going wide as he feels the aches and pain leaving him.]
I told you not to do that. Jerk.
no subject
Ah, quitcher bitchin. I'm helping.
[Once her veins stop running black, Dara sits back with a small groan, giving her body a minute to battle the pain before it's gone. She lets out a huff and looks back at Stiles.]
God, Stiles, is that how humans always feel when they get sick? That sucks.
no subject
Depends on what kind of sick you are. The flu's always been a rough one for me.
no subject
You're hot...
[The car pulls out of the driveway and she can hear it peripherally until he turns the corner at the end of the street. Yep, he really did leave her there with sick Stiles. Is she supposed to stay until he gets back? Leave now? Take care of Stiles in his absence or just keep him company? What's the protocol for this?]
no subject
[He gave her a weak leer, then rested back on the bed. He'd heard the door close, but the rest was lost to his non-werewolf hearing.]
Thanks. For coming over. And bringing stuff. I think we're good for any sicknesses for the next ten years or so.
no subject
Just the ones I like.
[Her smile softens a little and she finally pulls her hand away from the side of his face.]
Yeah, of course. Sorry I don't know more about it so I could be more helpful...

I'm sure. Come on, there's gotta be something I can do?
