firsts~

It's your first time! Whether it's first kiss, first date, or even your first child, your character will be plunged into the nervous or terrifying experience that is their first time.

The list:
1. First kiss. Pucker up!
2. First date. Who's paying? Dinner and a movie, or a night under the stars in the back of your convertible Corvette?
3. First time. You've been together awhile, and it's about time to consummate things.
4. First child. Was it an accident, or planned for? You decide!
5. First Anniversary. You've made it an entire year without killing one another! Time to break open the bubbly.
6. First pet. Dog or cat? Fish tank? Rhinoceros?
7. First house. Apartment in the city, or perfect white picket fenced home! Either way, better make the best of it.
8. First fight. And things had been going so well; is your relationship strong enough to outlast the tiffs?
9. First breakup. But they were your one and only! How will you cope with losing them? How will you ever manage to find another?
10. Make up your own! Or mix and match!

As per usual, the norms apply! Post a comment with your character, and others will use the handy dandy RNG to choose a random scenario, or they'll simply pick one they like! Keep rolling and playing your little hearts out, and enjoy!

Yeah well, I didn't necessarily have much choice in the matter - unlike some people.

[She rolls her eyes, but smiles all the same. She's only too happy to be rid of the helmet - unclipping it and slipping it off once he's stopped the bike. Skillfully she swings one leg back over to dismount, she stumbles a bit, used to a wider steed, but she manages to keep both feet on the ground.]

Well you're no horseman, but you're not such a bad driver.

I'm saying that you did, at least. Come on, you told pretty much everyone in the whole town about your escapades all around the world!

Escapades that I shouldn't have been having. Here in Storybrooke, that's where I needed to be.

Well, you're here now - [As if for emphasis, she opens the door to Granny's and holds it open for a moment before entering.]

Is it as fun as you imagined?

[Alleyne simply rolls her eyes a bit before sitting down at one of the booths. She keeps it clean and orders cider - she's more of a whiskey drinker, but this hardly seems the venue for it.]

Well, as long as we're discussing it, I'm curious - you've seen this world in its entirety, or at least more than anyone else here. What's it like out there?

Not that different from here, in many ways. Minus the magic and the fairy tales.

What's the most impressive place you've been to?

I suppose that would be Nepal. There are mountains everywhere.

Mountains eh? How do you get around in terrain like that?

By bike, on foot. Some of them it's possible to travel along by some sort of motorized vehicle.

Ahh, I see. And what exactly drew you there? What was it about Nepal that appealed to you?

[iwasinphuket]

I was just going where I was going. I didn't give much thought to it. I was looking for an experience.

[ridesheadless]

And I take it you got one? I mean besides looking at mountains.

[iwasinphuket]

I did. Perhaps more of one than I was bargaining for.

Oh? How so? What happened?

[iwasinphuket]

I lost track of certain things that I should have been paying attention to.

[ridesheadless]

Ahh, you mean the Savior and your mission when you first came here.

[She gives a soft shrug.]

Well, everything turned out all right in the end, more or less - she's alive and well, so to that extent your job was done.

I may have messed things up a little in the middle of it, but like you said, it worked out in the end.

Then there's nothing to worry about now.

[Alleyne gives a soft smile and sips her drink.]

I'm curious though...your father...you knew who he was even if he didn't. And even if he didn't remember he had a son, he must have felt some sort of emptiness...why didn't you say anything to him?

I would have had to admit that I let him down. That's not an easy thing to admit under good circumstances. It's even harder to admit it to the father who doesn't know that he is your father until you tell him.

[ridesheadless]

Understandable, I suppose...but you should have seen the sadness in his eyes when he remembered. It was all I could do to keep from crying, and I don't cry over lost loved ones like that!

[For the most part, having reconnected the living with the dead so many times, she's desensitized. But...something in the old man's face, in his tears...it had moved her.]

I made some wrong decisions, but now I have the chance to make the right ones.
