His clothing is a little cut up in places, but he's calm enough. He nods. "I'm fine. Once we got outside, I out-ran him." He makes a slight face. "I think he was high on something illegal."

"Possibly." He puts an arm around him protectively. "But you're wearing the glamour I've given you. If he could see through that, he was either another sorcerer or...extremely abnormal, psychologically."

Not that these are mutually exclusive, but... "Let's go home, mm?"

Roi peers up at him and nods. "Sounds good." His ears twitch a bit and he presses closer. Mmm, comfy Balthazar. He purrs loudly at him.

"And I'll mend those clothes for you," he squeezes gently and begins the walk home.

Probably they had better get started with self-defense lessons soon if this kind of thing is going to happen. Still, no harm done.

Aside from Roi's pride, there's definitely no harm done. It's unrelated to how he's practically glued to Balthazar's side as they walk.

He's getting used to having him close by all the time. Amazing how one grows accustomed to companionship so quickly, even after centuries of being alone.

Since there's no one else around, really, Roi starts purring loudly as they walk, very, very comfortable in the moment of things. Last night was pretty freaky!
