Looks like the weather forecast was right; it's absolutely pouring! And most people are complaining about the sudden downpour.

But forget those negative nellies! Just post a comment with your series name and character name as usual, as well as any other notes you wish to add, then pick a prompt using the RNG and get started!

1. OMG RAIN!!!

Rain is just the BEST THING EVER, RIGHT?! Well, that's what you think and you're determined to have a good time. Either going for a walk or splashing through puddles or even just sitting around and getting wet, you're going to milk every second of this rain and drag your friends along for the ride.

2. FUCK YOU, RAIN.

Oh god, it's raining. This just completely ruins your day. Maybe you were planning to go shopping but the roads are still flooded up, or because the school closed thanks to the storm, you need to hire a last minute babysitter for your kids. Whatever the reason for it, you're not pleased about this rain and you don't care what anyone else thinks.

3. RAIN SIEGE

Oh lord, it looks like you're stuck inside. It's raining too hard for you to even think of leaving! Will you make a daring escape in a ridiculous raincoat or will you just give up and watch TV? But what if you run out of snacks? Or the TV reception dies?!

4. A WALK IN THE RAIN

Nothing like the sound of rain beating against your umbrella, right? You don't really care either way about the chaos and even though it's chilly, the one thing you want to do today is head out for a walk in the rain and maybe grab a hot chocolate on the way back.

Well, you know, you people were having such a hard time getting here through a little bad weather, I thought you might need a hand.

*Okay, as much as he'd love to watch Tiger continue to embarrass himself like this, they really need to start getting people onto that ferry. So a powerful, tightly controlled burst of wind blows from behind and below, strong enough to pick up a man in a metal suit and carry him to the boat.*

Hey, Blue Rose! Think you could freeze the top layer of water on that bridge now that I've stopped the rain? We don't need civilians slipping off of it.

A LITTLE bad weather WHOAH!

[Though the flight is unexpected, Tiger reorients quickly. Using the grappling hook, he swings down to the deck.]

You could have WARNED me!

[He could go on, but there are people to save! And he did land on the boat, instead of falling into the water. Alastor would just laugh it off anyway. Vaguely, Kotetsu wonders when he began calling the demon by first name instead of 'Sparky.'

Meanwhile, Blue Rose has begun applying a new layer of ice, sending clouds of crystals shimmering through the air.]

*He lands on the edge of the boat with a smirk, arms crossed and tail held high.*

[Then Agnes comes over the com.]

Tiger! Quit arguing and check if there are any disabled civilians on board. If Alastor's actually helping, maybe he can air lift them.

[Of course Agnes knows the demon will, but they're still keeping his contract under wraps from the Heroes. Wild Tiger gets to be messenger boy!]

Come on, Fly Boy. Let's make sure everyone can walk.

[Oh good, new nickname!]

With or without nearly falling on their faces? Because I think you might have already answered that question.

*But he's walking into the interior of the ship anyway, wings folded tight to fit through the small doors.*

[Speaking of faces, Tiger pulls a very mature one at the demon's back. Complete with hand motions. Then he follows, ducking.

Inside, it's dim and crowded. Upon spotting Alastor, some people draw back, murmuring. The Lighting Demon on TV is one thing. Seeing him in real life, silhouetted against the flickering lights, is quite another.

The muttering eases a little when Tiger comes in. Still, he's uneasy. The Hero leans in to Alastor, all at once completely serious.]

Hey, may want to step back for a second. They look pretty shaken already, and they know me.

[Hopefully none of the idiots decide to take a swing or something.]

*The glowing eyes don't help with his ominous appearance, either. He nods, stepping aside to let Tiger through.*

Yeah...they haven't seen that I'm here to help yet...

[Tiger clears his throat. He strikes his best "take-charge" stance, feet apart and shoulders spread.]

Okay - attention everyone! I'm Wild Tiger and we're here to get you out. The storm's stopped. We've got rescue ships docking, and Blue Rose has frozen a bridge to help you all cross safely. Form one line and you'll be home in no time! Anyone need medical care?

[That should be everything. Right, Alastor! Tiger quickly shoves a thumb in his direction.]

Oh yeah, and this guy's helping too. He's not going to sink the boat or anything!

[Wow, Tiger, very comforting. At least the murmuring mostly sounds relieved now!]

Way to be reassuring.

*His tail sweeps over to swat the side of Kotetsu's leg as he steps forward again.*

If anyone doesn't think they can make it across the bridge on their own, I can fly a few people across one at a time. People who can't walk at all first.

STUDIO
[A couple of passengers come forward, an old man in a wheelchair and a very giggly teenage girl with a broken leg. Agnes nods. Her schedule's in ruins, but this is shaping up to be a decent episode. Nothing wrong with filler.]

Keep rolling on those two, see if we can get a princess carry shot for Alastor. We need more footage for his next promo. Camera 12 and 6, Hero cuts, 2 seconds each -

[A HeroTV chopper pans out for a wider view. Dark clouds still roil at the horizon, so it takes Agnes a moment to spot the smoke.]

Hold on - Camera 4, zoom in on the starboard side.

[Black plumes are beginning to rise from the oil platform.]

*The actual injury takes priority over the wheelchair in this case and he does indeed pick the girl up in a princess carry. He's surprisingly gentle, for a guy who's been known to pick up cars like they're made of styrofoam.*

Hey, Kitten, can you get the wheelchair guy to the deck? I'll come back for him once I've gotten the girl to a medic.

[Suuuuuuure carrying the cute girl takes priority. Sure. Kotetsu's grumbling as he begins pushing the chair.]

Kitten? You get back here and say to my face, Sparkles.

[Safely on deck (and with the old man making noises Tiger is pretending aren't chuckles) he scans the area. There are blinking lights speeding towards them, the rescue cruisers and hopefully more of the Heroes. On the bridge, Origami's started directing traffic.

Behind him, the clouds of smoke begin to thicken. Tiger's standing at the wrong angle to see them.]

*The wheelchair won't get worse without medical attention.*

Sorry, I've got a delivery to make.

*Kotetsu might not notice the smoke, but Alastor smells it as he takes to the air. He turns back, then frowns as he shouts down.*

We've got a bit of a complication. It looks like something caught fire.

STUDIO

[Not only did they get the princess-carry shot, the girl gives Alastor a hug before she's led off by the EMTs. Agnes allows herself a quick nod - she's using that tomorrow - before turning back to the next crisis.]

Bonjour Heroes, it appears that the ship's electrical system has ignited. Evacuate as quickly as possible. Tiger, you're closest, go investigate. Normal procedure, make sure there are no civilians in the area.

[Yes, HeroTV has a procedure for a fire in the middle of the harbor and surrounded by an ice field. She figures since Alastor spotted it, he'll follow after Tiger eventually.]

*He only gets a little huffy at the hug, mainly because he's on camera and come on you're going to ruin his tough guy image. He goes back to get the guy with the wheelchair across, not even bothered by the weight, then flies after Tiger.*

We're in trouble if this gets to that oil spill...

[Tiger jumps from the boat to the rig, keeping back for now. Though Blue Rose is trying to lay down more ice, flames are already licking out the oil. They dance eerily on the water.]

Too late. Damn, good thing it's on this end -

[That's when they hear the screams.]

Well, it sounds like not everyone is away from it.

*And without a second thought, he's off toward the source of those screams...whether it gets him singed or not.*

[There's a flash as Tiger activates 100 Power, and then he bolts after Alastor. He easily keeps pace, scanning the area.]

Come on, come on - over there!

[Shaken from the impact, one of the rig supports has fallen over. It's laying across the cabin of the ferry. In the red glow, Tiger sees people moving, waving hands out a broken window. Flames speed toward them, leaping and twisting.

A few rig workers attempt to beat back the encroaching fire. Tiger's fans are already kicking in - The fumes are going to be dangerous for anyone without a suit. He thunders in, shouting and shoving them out of the way.]

Hey! Get out of here, go go!

*A wind kicks up to blow the smoke and fire away from the cabin, but Alastor can't do anything about the heat. Rain would just make an electrical and oil fire worse. He'll have to settle for getting the ferry free to move. His sword appears in a flash of purple and easily slices through the support, which he then grabs hold of and hauls off the cabin and into the water.*

This thing had better still be in workable condition...

[At least wind has improved visibility. Small favors. Pieces of the support still block the cabin. Kotetsu starts hauling them off and heaving them into the bay. He's not paying much attention to where the chunks land, until Bunny starts shouting.]

Tiger! Watch the fires, or you're going to splash them onto the rescue boats!

Okay, okay!

[The next throw is a lot more careful.]

I'm going to go inside and see if I can get the electronics shut down. If nothing else, it'll mean we can put out the purely electrical fires.

[Tiger clears more debris, then frowns. The cabin is too warped from the impact and heat for the captives to exit. Ripping away any more metal might cause the whole thing to collapse.]

Wait, help me get them out of here first! Cut that window wider!

*He nods and conjures his sword again. Four quick slashes later, the window is now a brand new door.*

Think you can play crowd control?

[Four people emerge from the cabin, coughing. A few have burns, but they're all mobile. Tiger waves down one of the boats. As it manuevers in he starts herding the stunned crew up to the railing.]

Why? You got a dramatic exit to make or something?!

[It's distacted snarking, though - the little cruiser's having trouble manuevering through the pools of flame.]

Cute. I do still want to see if I can get the damaged controls shut down. If there's no electricity, those fires can be put out.

*He does see what Kotetsu's looking at, however, and frowns.*

I can't think of anything to do about the oil fires, though, other than get everyone out of here and let them run out of fuel.

If he was that bad, would he put himself in danger when someone really needed his help?

I enjoy how this is a rain meme and now stuff is on fire. OOPS.

Some fires are just made worse by rain.
