[roy's watched raleigh slowly waste away the longer he tried to fight against the cancer, and it's just gotten progressively worse, until they finally reached this point. roy could have left a long time ago, or even when things really started going downhill, but he hasn't gone anywhere.

raleigh's his husband (officially now and everything), and roy could never bring himself to abandon him.]

You...you need anything, babe? [he tries to smile, but there's still tears stinging at his eyes as he holds raleigh's hand tightly, not wanting to let him go.]

[roy swallows down his tears and sobs, because right now, raleigh doesn't need that. he needs to be at peace.]

[ He shudders, tries to swallow but he cant, and winds up coughing again. ]

[roy winces as he listens to raleigh cough because...god, it's just terrifying. he knows they don't have much time left, but it's so hard to just accept that.]
