It was Ritsuka's birthday and Soubi had painted him some memories. The camera was nice, but sometimes a more personal touch was necessary. So he'd put brush to paper, added imagination and memory...and now it was time to give them to Ritsuka.

His dear Ritsuka had grown in the years since they'd met. No less kind. No less cruel. Beautiful.

Soubi waited patiently for a quiet moment alone, letting everyone else wander off, then stepped up behind Ritsuka with a smile and presented the large folder, slipping one arm around the smaller man's waist to just hold him.

That was really more of a rhetorical question than anything. Never in her life had Nepeta known Terezi to be unsure of anything, or at least she'd never admit it. Still, with her coat, gloves, and hat unceremoniously tossed to the floor, Nepeta had to admit to feeling pretty nervous right about now.

Then again, who wouldn't be nervous about getting into bed with Terezi Pyrope? Even if they were eager, which Nepeta definitely also was...

Of course "into bed" was a bit of a misleading euphemism, given that they were currently up against one of the walls of Terezi's tree, Nepeta practically pinned to the wall by the legislacerator-to-be. She imagined, however, that some sort of furniture would be involved at some point. Terezi probably couldn't hold her up against the wall for too long.

At least Nepeta didn't think she could.

[Tim is used to the idea of there being multiple universes, and seeing alternate versions of his friends or even himself isn't entirely new, either, although it's always a bit startling. But apparently, something about being around this alternate version of Dick, that much closer to his own age and still almost unreal in his levels of attractiveness, made him blow the secret part of secretly having a crush on Dick Grayson since he was a kid staring up at the trapeze somewhere along the line. Maybe it's the fact that this Dick is still, just, a teenager like him, maybe it's the fact that he's so familiar, so essentially Dick and yet not the Dick that Tim knows, having that sense of security and closeness and yet lacking the familial bond that makes his crush on his universe's Dick so awkward and so very desperately secret - whatever it is, somehow Tim is a lot worse at hiding the obvious when he's around this Dick.

In some ways, that's really worked out for the better, although he still has the sense that it could all come undone. After all, at some point Dick will have to go back to his own world, and that will be that - and they both know that, of course, so there's a sense of... not exactly non-committal, but that there's a definite end on the horizon. On the other hand, that lends a sense of urgency, and now that they're over the part of Tim admitting things and not getting as horrifically rejected as he's always told himself he would be... well. They have limited time together, and he has a nice big apartment he was letting Dick stay at to avoid awkwardness with Bruce and Damian, anyway.

And there's a really nice big bedroom with a really nice big bed because he tends to need it after a hard night of crimefighting, and... that's about where his thinking stops, because he's still kind of awkward and still has trouble imagining that Dick will want to do more than steal a few kisses and touches here and there, but. He does want more, even if he's having trouble putting it into words, or action beyond sitting on the edge of his bed looking uncertain.]

They'd been dancing around it for weeks, now. In fact, even with all the possible complications, Dick had begun getting comfortable with the dance. The whisper of Jason's breath on the skin behind his ear. The smell of Jason's hair, and his laughter when his face was tucked in against the curve of Dick's neck. The taste of his kisses, even, and the warmth of his hands against Dick's skin, through clothes or, sometimes, under them.

The warmth of Jason's skin under his own fingers.

And, tonight (well, tonight ship time, whatever the time actually might be), he blinked as he realized that Jason was helping him take off his shirt, and Dick was running his fingers over the younger teen's bare clavicle collar-bone, and his motion slowed, eyes rising to meet Jason's for a long moment.
