We've all seen it in fiction or witnessed it in real life - or been a part of it. A pair that's so attracted to each other ( or maybe clearly in love with each other) that it nearly creates a presence of its own. But, as of yet, they've not acted on this. They're dancing around the issue, one or both of them is ignorant despite EVERYONE ELSE knowing, or they're just the type to ignore all that guff. It's awkward, though, for everyone involved. And eventually...
Your character and whoever responds to you have had this sort of tension building up between you for a while now. Handwaved interaction and assumed CR are key here! It doesn't have to be your typical romcom or tsundere arguing couple. Cute little crushes, secret longings, and serious feelings all welcome. It can even be sexual tension rather than purely romantic. The characters have yet to explore anything - now, though, they have no choice since it's right there, unable to be avoided.

Fine. [She holds her hands up in turn, pressing her smaller palms against Ymir's, slipping her slim fingers between hers.] I'll even let you pick the suit.
[Nodding, she inspects their hands, comforted by the simple fact that she could do this more freely now. Slowly, she pulled her hand close, pressing a kiss to the knuckles there.]
[That does it. The warm glow of pleasant surprise slowly dissipates as she realizes the profundity of the moment, that Ymir liked her to that extent. Dipping her head, she could feel her knees go weak, face heating shyly all of a sudden, and the bravado disappearing.
She had never imagined Ymir was capable of such sweetness.]
[Christa shakes her head quickly before realizing that's the wrong answer, and then she nods her approval, too shy to look up. The attention is new, never having gotten it to this intimate extent from anyone before.]
[Christa brightens visibly, and there's a light in her eyes when she's coaxed to look up, to return the kiss.]
I-I can go change right now. In fact, I won't take long, and then we can get this out of the way fast enough to grab dinner. [She squeezes Ymir's hands, letting go only to head to her bedroom--
[The door shut with some finality behind her, and Christa soon sank to her knees, cupping her heated face in her hands.
She liked her and it was nice and she liked it back, which meant she liked her, too. It was easy to take that first plunge, but now she was facing a whirlwind of consequences.
Ymir could have reduced anyone to a heap, but she chose her, and she didn't mind it at all. What she didn't expect was the sudden burst of pride, and possessiveness. She had someone's heart.
It takes her forty five minutes to emerge, in a dress and hair styled again to replace the drabness of that morning. She can do this. Christa can pretend to be as cool headed as Ymir about this.]
[What Christa hadn't seen was how she had changed when that door closed. Quickly, she slid down to the floor out of her chair, resolving herself to just lay there for a good while and stare at the ceiling. Her face colored deep read as she raised her hands to place them over her face, rubbing roughly to try and get a semblance of whether this was real. She had admitted everything, and the girl was okay with that. She was okay, and she returned the feelings, and that was what got her even more.
She had returned the kiss.
She never thought she could ever be sweet on someone, much less sweet with someone, but she could make an exception with her. She could try, and if those soft gestures were any indication, she could make those exceptions immediately.
By the time Christa emerges, Ymir had been up and about for about 5 minutes total, leaning against the counter as she waited. Her eyes go a bit wide as she looks her over, not bothering to hide the small smile of appreciation.
She kissed me back. She kissed me back. Not anyone else. Me.]
Mmm, but we're taking my car. [It would make the task of taking Ymir to all the shops she knew they had to check out easier. It also meant enduring Ymir's remarks on her driving situation (or rather the fact that Christa had to sit on two cushions in order to see above the steering wheel.]
We're going to make you the hottest wedding date ever.
[She rolls her eyes, skeptical of that remark, but she grunts her compliance all the same. She really doesn't see what she sees, but hell, she'd bite.]
[She misses that completely, searching for her keys in the pockets of the last coat she's worn before manhandling the door.] Come on, now! We have a shopping mall and two boulevards to ransack for suits!
[No turning back now. She knew what she was getting herself into the moment that she agreed to this. The moment she asked her to go with her instead. She'd try on a million suits if it meant they were going together.
Stuffing her hands in her pockets, she nodded, ready and waiting to follow close behind.]
[The actual shopping trip went exactly like every time the two had shopped for clothes together (which wasn't very often), in which Christa teetered at the end of her rope of saintly patience. It was only when they had left the main area of the shopping center to sit outside on the terrace she she allowed herself to breathe with relief.]
[Her voice stops short as she looks across the walkway into a store they hadn't hit yet. There it was. The outfit she had a feeling they had been looking for.
Swallowing thickly, she lifted herself from the handrail she was leaning against, and took her hand, tugging her along gently.]
[She was being dragged into a store. Christa was willingly being dragged into a store by the even more willing Ymir. Her brain all but short circuited at the thought of this shopping trip being cooperative in any way.
A clothing store, for that matter, and not another gadget shop.]
[Quickly, she turned to steady the girl with her hands on her shoulders. Once she had, she lifted her hands to place them over her eyes.]
Just wait here.
[And then she was gone. While she was sure the girl couldn't see her, she had to keep looking back to make sure as she picked out the suit she had seen in the window, and took it to the dressing room.]
