THE PASSOVER MEME: PART ONE: THE PARTY

AIN'T NO PARTY LIKE A PESACH PARTY
Because a Pesach party lasts for seven days.

Four Children – both of you roll the RNG again with numbers 1-4. 1 – Wise Child: Everything you say is perfectly correct. 2 – Wicked Child: Well, geez, when did you hit the troublesome teenage years? 3 – Simple Child: You can no longer understand words longer than seven letters. 4 – The Child Who Doesn’t Know Enough to Ask: You can’t say anything. At all. How do you communicate?

5. Dayenu Already! – One of you just CAN’T STOP GIVING. Presents, favors, advice, whatever, but enough is enough!

6. And the Women Dancing with Their Timbrels – Everything you say now has to be conveyed through song lyrics. You can be aware of the fact that your life has just turned into a medley musical, or just roll with it.

7. Burning Bush – One of you now has a set of commands for the other. Do they follow them? How do you try to convince them to listen?

8. Red Sea – Water, water, everywhere, and I sure hope you can swim because you’re stuck in what appears to be an endless expanse of H2O.

9. Exodus – You’re free!...To wander for forty years in the desert, anyway.

10. Prince of Egypt – You’re royalty — or are you? Boy, does your partner have news for you, so I hope you’re ready to find out just who’s your daddy...

[Well, great. Even a waterbender can only keep bailing out a damaged boat for so long, and Katara eventually decided to save her strength for swimming.

Lucky for her, it turns out her canoe is juuust buoyant enough to float now that it's been vacated and deliberately capsized. She's currently clinging to the upturned hull with most of her body - and her bare legs - dangling in the deep water, hoping very hard that nothing hungry lives down there.

Maybe the rest of the gang will come on a search-and-rescue before dark? She told Sokka she was taking the canoe out for a little fishing, didn't she? Maybe...?

At least the water's warm...]
