Size kink is a kink or preference for a distinct difference in size, height, musculature or weight between two sexual partners.

It isn't too unusual for two people in a relationship to be of different sizes, be it height or weight or anything else of that nature; after all, it'd probably be more strange to see two people together with the exact same "specs," so to speak. What are the odds? Still, the difference isn't always pronounced.

Except, sometimes, when it is.

Some people find the difference cute or charming, while others are not such big fans. Whatever the case may be, there are benefits and drawbacks, all the same.

This meme is for playing out everything that comes with being in a relationship where one party is a different size than the other. All configurations are welcome!

How to Play

Comment with your character and your preferences. It will also probably be beneficial for you to include information about your character's size for those who aren't familiar with your canon (ie, saying "big" or "small" or "tall" or "short" in the subject line, then extrapolating in the comment). Remember, though, there may always be someone bigger or smaller!
Comment to others.
Use the RNG to determine prompts or just go with the flow.

Prompts

Cute: The difference between you and your partner is adorable and fluffy, complete with big spoon and little spoon cuddling, carrying, and head patting.
Awkward: In some couplings, especially in heterosexual ones, there is an unfair expectation for one party to be taller than the other. When it's the reverse, you can sometimes get stares and cruel comments. But don't let that get you down.
Inadequate: Because of your size, you feel embarrassed and afraid that the person you love might not love you.
Don't Want to Hurt You: If the size difference is great, there can be a fear on the part of the bigger half of the couple that they might hurt the smaller half - especially in sex. How can you work around this problem?
Weight: Your size difference is in weight, not height.
Not What You Expect: In fiction and pop culture, the bigger partner is usually the dominant one. What if that's not the case in this pairing, though?
HUGE Difference: It's not just a foot or so difference; it's YARDS. One of you is really big and the other is tiny. No matter what, the way you care for each other is giant.
Aren't You Too Young?: The smaller partners can get confused for kids next to their bigger lovers, and that can be embarrassing. You want to prove to your partner that they need not worry about what other people say - you're sexy and very much not a kid (unless you are, I suppose).
Benefits: Having a size difference in your relationship isn't all downsides. There are perks to having a partner who can pick you up, carry you, press you against the wall...basically, this is the hot size difference sex option.

[It's easy enough for Kise to be seen and recognized with his blond hair and towering height. Add the fact that he's a model and a basketball ace then it is close to impossible. Normally, Kise doesn't mind the attention, even revels in it some, but ever since getting into a relationship, it's kind of hard to deal with. Especially when he feels like surprising his girlfriend at her school.]

[Kise can be sneaky when he wants to be but it's still kind of funny when he tries. Crouching in some bushes by Juuban High's school gates while waiting for her to come out is definitely not one of his brightest moments but it's working so far. At least, no one has come up and tried to talk to him. Then again no one probably thought Kise Ryouta would even get up to doing something silly like this.]

[Kino-san, there's some stranger hiding in the bushes!

It figures that a few girls in her class would come to her when they got spooked. She doesn't mind it, she supposes; it's much better to be thought of as a protector than a bully. And if there's some pervert hanging out around the gates (her classmates hadn't been incredibly descriptive, just that he was "big" and maybe a foreigner), she's probably the most equipped to take care of the problem.

So that's why she's coming over to the shrub row, her face drawn into a serious expression as she reaches out to brush the branches aside.]

Hey, you! You can't just stay out here, you're scaring the-

[But when she realizes who exactly it is hiding rather non-convincingly in the brush, her whole plan goes out the window.]

Ki...Kise-kun?

[He freezes instinctively at the stern voice at first, panic freezing the very blood in his veins, but then the voice softens in confusion. Kise looks on over to the owner of the voice, feeling a happy smile spread over his face even as he flushes a little in embarrassment.]

Mako-chan~ [He laughs softly, feeling silly and embarrassed at being caught. Of course this isn't exactly how he thought things would turn out. Kise's original plan involved sweeping out of the bushes and taking her by surprise in some sweet, romantic way but then Makoto Kino isn't exactly your typical girly girl, is she? Not that he minds that at all.]

Ah, surprise? [He smiles softly as those amber eyes widen a little. At 6'2" and at 16 years old, he's somehow still able to do puppy dog eyes rather well. Please don't be too upset with him, Makoto. He just wants to see you and spend some time with you.]

[She's still not used to having to look up, so it's a momentary lapse before she does so when he stands up to his full size. Of course, that's not what's surprising here. She'd been full expecting to chase off some creep, not see the very handsome young man she'd just started seeing.

And no matter how lucky she feels for dating a beautiful guy who's a model and a sports star, she can't shake that initial pulling back because what.

Just. What?

...at the very least, she doesn't look mad.

Wha- what are you doing...?

[Crouching in the bushes seem silly when he's been caught so Kise stands, brushing off leaves and twigs from the tan material of his school jacket the blonde of his hair. It's a bit surprising to him still too how the height difference between them isn't that much. It's nice, though, not having to lean down too far and the better to take in her pretty face.]

Hm? [He hums in question when she asks him what he's doing, those amber eyes looking to her curiously. It takes a moment for it to sink in before he smiles a bit ruefully.] Well, just getting out of the bushes for now, but what I really wanted to do was surprise you. But I think you surprised me.

[Kise's smile brightens before he reaches to take her hands in his if she'd allow it.] Are you free now?

[Maybe they can go for a snack or something?]

[Just to give herself something to do with her hands - because the sweet gesture is making her blush a little, and certainly feel somewhat embarrassed at that - she reaches up to help him pull off a few stray leaves and brambles.]

I appreciate the gesture. Really, I do. [It's oddly romantic, though it'd gone horribly south.] But I don't think that hiding in a bush outside a high school is ever that good of an idea. [An idea pops into her head, some kind of solution, though she struggles at first to say it.

Or, at least, how to say it.]

Maybe next time you can just wait at the gate...? [To have him be so open about their relationship would be a thrill in and of itself. Still, he's never really had a problem with that, evidenced by how he took her hands.

She allows it, the initial nervousness of letting him do so having worn off far back, and she finally smiles at him, all soft and with a nod of her head.]

Sure! I was just leaving, anyway. Have something in mind?

[She tells him point blank that it isn't a good idea to crouch around the bushes of a high school and it makes him laugh, shaking his head at his own stupidity.] Well, I remember that now! I think I just got too used to doing stupid things with my friends...

[Though if you ask any of his friends, they'll tell you that that's all Kise. Nope, they have no involvement in the stupidity he gets up to. Which are of course lies in various degrees of severity.]

[Her suggestion sobers him right up, making him smile again. It makes him happy and he gently squeezes her hands in his.]

Okay, I'll remember that for next time. [It might cause a bit of an uproar as Kise tends to attract fangirls like bees to honey wherever he goes and is clearly visible, but he'll deal with it. Even now he's getting looks and the giggling and swooning are probably obvious but he ignores it all, focusing on the girl he's holding hands with and the reason why he came down all the way to Juuban. He'll be able to make it work somehow.]

No, not really. What about you? Is there anything you want to do?

[Makoto herself is used to being the center of attention, for much less pleasant reasons that Kise. Of course, there'd been no one purposefully coming her way, unless it was Usagi. Or the friends who come with being friends with Usagi.

And Kise.

...actually, she can't let her mind ponder the similarities between a certain bun-headed girl and her new boyfriend, lest her brain explode. Besides, it's hard to think of anything but Kise when Kise is around. He just happens to have that kind of bubbly, light affect. So, no, the fact that now a few girls are staring and giggling up a storm, she doesn't mind - because she's got his hand in hers and his eyes on her. No need to be insecure.]

Just hanging out is fun. [And she can certainly enjoy just lazing around for a change. But, oh, that wasn't the kind of suggestion a new girlfriend should give-! And while she wasn't so nerve-wrecked or feeling the need to show out for him, she wanted her time with him to be special.]

And I heard there's a new ice cream shop opening on the way to the Crown. I'm sure that would be a good pick-up after a long school day, right?

[He has actually met Makoto's friends and he has found a certain kinship with the bun-headed Usagi. For one, she didn't seem to know who he was at first and that was refreshing. For another, she had no qualms about telling him to do good by her friend. Usagi is tiny and nowhere near as intimidating or strong as his girlfriend but it's nice to see her being protective anyway. And Usagi is just a lot of fun, kind of clueless and she tends to get bullied a little but then that is familiar, isn't it?]

[The girls are still being ignored though he can spare a greeting or more to Minako whom he can spot somewhere at the back there. If she comes closer to say 'hello' anyway, though Minako tends to just giggle and push them together after some quick, teasing words. Of course Makoto's friends are exceptions. For now, he only has eyes for Makoto. No, she definitely has nothing to be insecure about.]

Ice cream sounds good! [Ice cream is always good.] Do you need to go back and get your bag? [Her hands are only holding his after all.]
