Cuddling is one of the best things in the world. Whether it be platonic cuddling between friends, or cuddling with your sweetheart, it's pretty damn fun.

But what about cuddling with a bunch of people? Watch a movie with friends and flop across them. Set up a tent in the back yard and curl up with your friends.

Whatever the situation, it's not just you and one other. It's you and several others and cuddling and it's awesome.

Here's how it works:

That was the-- oomph!

[ His face scrunched up from the pillow impact. She was certainly a sneaky woman. And to be honest he wasn't used to her being so playful with them. He was more used to her mothering him. Then again he was a little more naughty than Marlene was. He was a growing boy though he couldn't help it.

A bigger grin appeared on his face, and he reaches for his own pillow to get revenge. ]

[She could be playful too... it's just there hadn't been much chance to for a while there and even usually she would have been a bit shyer about it. The blanket fort reminded her of her own childhood though and perhaps a bit of the open, outgoing girl she'd once been had leaked back in to her while she'd been building it. Besides, kids were meant to play and parental figures shouldn't be serious all the time.

So she rolls when he goes for his own pillow, making sure it's in the direction of the largest pile for when he dislodges. She's not about to have a pillow fight starting pinned down. Her own pillow comes around again and she's not really interested in dignity at the moment.]

Take that!

[ Marlene sure was missing out. He'll have to tell her all the fun she missed in the morning. Right now he was more interested in playing with Tifa. He grinned happily and and took the pillow hit. He dove into a big pile and threw a few of them at her. This meant war! ]

You're going down, Tifa!

[War it was and Tifa wasn't above fighting dirty. She managed to scramble into a sitting position at least before the pillows started flying and held her own in front of her to deflect most of them from her face at least.]

Come at me!

[And she threw pillows right back since he'd made a nice pile around her, aiming for his elbows and chest. Oh, they'd see who was going down!]

[ He stood up when she hit him in the chest again. He dramatically grabs his chest and falls over into the pile of pillows around him. ]

Oh nooooo you got me!

[Like she believed that. Kids these days. With a leap - or kind of a leap considering she was sitting down, she went in for the kill, with two pillows thrown in first to soften up the target.]

Take that!

Aaack!

[ He tries to defend himself but she was going at him more. he laughed and tried to roll away from her. ]

U-uncle Uncle!

[There was probably something shameful about beating up kids... but Tifa didn't see it. Especially not her kids who could handle themselves. She was very proud of them. But she also knew how sacred 'uncle' was in a kid fight and so she relented, leaning over him with a rarely seen grin and tapped the tip of his nose.]

Cloud's not the only fighter in the family.

[ She better not let her guard down, because he has that mischievous gleam in his eyes right now. He slowly grabs for a pillow behind his head and reaches to hit her with it. ]

[That's cheating!!

Yep, he's a child of hers all right.

Her arm comes up to block the pillow sweep but she lets it knock her over physically too, landing in the same mound of pillows. Grabbing for her own pillow, she says:]

I thought you said 'uncle'!

[ he laughs and gives her this big dorky grin. ]

Yeah but you didn't!

[It does her heart so much good to see that grin, hear that laugh, remembering how he'd been when Cloud had first brought him home. They really are healing. All of them.

She clobbers him with a pillow.]

And I'm not going to either. Take that!

[ He lets out a loud yelp and goes in to tackle Tifa since she's already on the floor. ]

You better! I'll give you the coochi coochi treatment!

The coochi coochi treatement!?

[It's her turn to burst into laughter as she goes down under his tackle, never having been up much to start with. He gets grazed by the pillow.]

What on earth is coochi coochi treatment?

This!

[ While getting whapped with a pillow he tries to tickle her sides the best that he can. ]

[The noise she makes isn't a laugh and it isn't a giggle. Instead it's somewhere in between and she's fast to surrender.]

Uncle! Uncle!

I win!

[ He grins happily and pumps both of his fists in the air. ]

I knew the coochi coochi treatment would work.

[There's still the caught sound of laughter in her throat. Who is she to argue against something called a coochi coochi treatment? She still gives his chest a little playful push so if he's off balance it will send him back into the pillows.]

Don't get too cocky. You might still have to beat Marlene for title of Fort King tomorrow.

[ He almost loses balance but then he leans forward again and just lies on top of her hugging her a little. ]

I was gonna say Cloud could beat her but we both know that's not true.

[Her arms come up around him and she just holds him against her, soaking in the feeling of this moment, his utter trust and his love. She was nervous, at first, when Cloud brought Denzel home. She'd never taken care of a little boy before and she'd been worried she wouldn't know how.

It's not really so different from anyone else though.

Raising a hand to stroke his hair, she makes an amused humming sound in her throat.]

She'd annihilate him.

[ He flushes a little and was about to push her hand away, but he figured since no one else was around it wouldn't be so embarrassing so he lets her play with his hair and just leans into her hold. ]

He wouldn't stand a chance.

[Hey, if head strokes are good enough for Cloud, Denzel can just endure them for a little bit. Besides, this is nice. It's not often she gets Denzel all to herself. She huffs an amused sound and shakes her head just a little bit. The laughing light in her eyes is nothign but deep, heart love.]

There's not a person in this family that couldn't beat Cloud with one hand tied behind their back.

[ He laughs a little and seems to relax even more in her hold. ]

You think even I could beat Cloud?

Mm.

[She gives a nod as well, relaxing herself, eyes shutting. In this moment, her world is perfect.[

Especially if you use the coochi coochi treatment.
