Cuddling is one of the best things in the world. Whether it be platonic cuddling between friends, or cuddling with your sweetheart, it's pretty damn fun.


But what about cuddling with a bunch of people? Watch a movie with friends and flop across them. Set up a tent in the back yard and curl up with your friends.

Whatever the situation, it's not just you and one other. It's you and several others and cuddling and it's awesome.


Here's how it works:

In a not-quite perfect world, there's a reporter from Metropolis settled on the other end of her couch, wearing sweatpants and a much-beloved Kansas City Royals t-shirt. The glasses perched on his nose don't seem to be helping his efforts to get a signal on his cell phone.

It was only a matter of time before Haven got the attention of a reporter. They could only hide things for so long. Unlike some in town, Audrey doesn't mind Clark and was happy to let him stay with her while Duke got a place set up for him.

Looking over at him, she stares for a moment before clearing her throat. "Whenever it storms, the signal goes down. If you need to get a hold of someone in town, you'll have to use the landline," she tells him.

He's not sure if there's a article to write yet. Sure, there's a story, one for every person in the town with a special ability. But as someone who deals with that kind of blessing, or curse, every day - Clark wants to take his time and figure out whether or not it's a public safety issue.

"Not in town. Out of state, actually. But thanks for letting me know. " He flips the phone closed and leans forward to set it on the coffee table next to his satchel. "Sounds like it's going to be a big one."

"Oh, well, I would offer my laptop for email, but I'm pretty sure the Internet is down, too." Audrey offers him a sympathetic look. She knows what it's like to be stuck in the middle of nowhere, and needing to make a call. "Hopefully service won't be down for too long."

As the wind starts to howl outside, causing the shutters to bang, she looks toward the window and nods. "Duke did say it's going to be the worst of the year. But, I think we'll be fine." She looks over at him and raises her eyebrows. "How long are you staying in Haven?"
