Congratulations, Tribute.

You have been selected to participate in the Hunger Games.

The rules are simple: there can only be one victor.
You have to kill everyone else or die.

The last one standing wins.
May the odds be in your favour.

Scenarios:
1. ENEMIES: in for the kill
The truth is you've been plotting each other's death for a long time. The only thing different about this situation is that everyone else actually wants you to off each other. Who cares if both of you are probably going to die anyway: no one is taking this bastard down except you.

2. ROMANCE: lovers in a dangerous time
What do lovers do when they know they're about to die? Last kiss, last words, last fuck? Maybe you're desperately trying to protect each other from the rest. Maybe you're the last two left alive. What sacrifices are you willing to make? How far will you allow each other to go?

3. ALLIES: set your arms down
It's in both of your best interests to stick together. Two together is more deadly than one, and you can pool supplies and weapons. Of course, this arrangement is most definitely temporary. Maybe it'll fall apart tonight, or tomorrow, or next week. Maybe your alliance has already run its course, and it's about to fall apart...right now.

4. TORTURE: death's not the worst
Sure, the point is to kill them. But why leave it at that? Maybe you've always secretly gotten off on this sort of thing, or maybe you've just cracked under the stress. When everyone is going to die, there's no point in sticking to all those rules society laid down for you any more. You've already incapacitated them; there's no way they can fight back. Might as well have some fun, right?

5. VICTORY: the finish line
You've done it. Last one standing. You've chosen to live, and no one but you knows how much that choice cost you, because they're all dead. At this point there's nothing that will stop you from stepping up to claim victory. You killed every other tribute. Or did you?

6. TOUR: you think this ends?
You've got a fabulous new home, you'll never go hungry again, and now you have to visit all the other districts and face the families of those you've slain. Some districts will greet you joyously and others? Won't. How are you even holding up in the aftermath?

7. OTHER: write your own story
Anything and everything you can think of. Maybe you're not a Tribute, but a Capitol citizen at a lavish watching party. Maybe you're a Mentor courting sponsors, or a Stylist getting your Tribute ready for the arena. Or are you a Gamemaker, with even more cruel surprises to shock and awe?

[Former Victor, probably current mentor, never been a believer in the whole system, but knows how to play along. I'm definitely in it more for the non-arena stuff than anything else, but I'm flexible.]

[Tribute probably from District 1 or District 8, absolutely down for her falling in with the resistance or being a recent victor who wasn't supposed to win but did through sheer luck and circumstance, and is still pretty messed up about it (mentally for sure, but probably physically as well)

[Tribute from District 3 or 5 is most likely, he doesn't look like much, but he's a scrapper, good with a knife and even better with re-wiring things. I'm down for Arena-based things, Resistance-based things or anything in between.
Also possibly on the game-makers team, but he'd hate every minute of that.]

[With his dad and brother both being police, District 2 makes the most sense. Either current Tribute or recent Victor.
I'm down for training scenarios, in the arena, after the games (since we all know the kinds of things that happen when a Victor is pretty) and all the other stuff that might come up, it's a big sandbox to play in!]

[Usually I have a good handle on what district someone would come from, but with Shane it could be... basically any. Current tribute, recent victor, whatever works. Though in the case of being a victor I'm pretty sure he's one of the ones who went a little feral in order to win and hasn't fully recovered from that, though he's good at keeping a lid on it.
I'm up for all the things! Training, styling, in the arena, at Events™ afterwards, anything goes.]

[Very eclectic stylist, seems to have no set standards for who she picks up every year, or every other year, and it may just be based on ~Vibes~ but she also has a little boutique in the Capitol supplying offbeat fashion oddities to the citizens.
There's also rumors about her family, but she seems pleasant and law-abiding enough.]

[Tribute from District 5 or 6 seems most likely. I'm down for all the shenanigans, training, in the arena, after the games, getting involved with the resistance, whatever works!]

[Tribute from one of the poorer districts, it's possible his dad was from one of the better ones and got disgraced somehow, sent further down the line.
Either way his name is in the box the maximum number of times because that slim chance of victory is better than having to live with the man for another minute. I love training scenarios, actually in the arena scenarios and all the aftermath type stuff, lay it on me.]

[Some kind of escort in the Capitol as likely as not, though being 'escort' who looks like arm candy but is really there to keep the Victor in line at events like some kind of handler/bodyguard is also workable.]

[There's a lot of options here, his family could be from District 2 and he could have been a very low chance of getting called tribute, expecting one of his friends to volunteer beforehand, but none of them did (mirroring his being sacrificed) But he could be from a poorer district even with a higher chance.
Could be he's actually a ghost and has just decided to help someone out.
Could be one of the game-makers team even.

Basically I'm saying there's so many options.]

[Former Victor (District 1 or 2 probably) and there are plenty of people who think he shouldn't have won, since it was kind of a fluke that he did, it's also why he gets in uh, statistically speaking a lot of fights. Sometimes he even wins them.]

[Victor turned Mentor, won his games by being better at traps than the rest of them, and not hesitating to strike when the time came. Absolutely okay with him being wrapped up in the resistance and all that.]

(and if a young Sam is the one who gets reaped because his dumbass brother was taken the year before? He could guide Sam on the rules and maybe turn him towards the resistance)

Tend to play him as a former Victor from an affluent District who won thanks to his insane skills with being able to turn anything he can get his hands on into a weapon. He's very popular with the Capitol at large because of that and his good looks. Tributes like him to train them but dislike having him as an actual Mentor during the Games proper because his lack of social skills makes it hard for him to get sponsors for them.

Can also do an aged-down version where he's in one of the actual Games too!]

[He could be a fellow tribute, or he could be someone's mentor. He'll do his best, despite knowing that the odds are never in anyone's favor.]

[ Former Victor and/or possible Mentor. I think he fits D12 the most but 11, 9 or 7 could also work. Won his Games by playing up looking harmless due to his small size and then utterly massacring whoever was left because he was trained by his serial killer uncle (potentially a past Victor). Likely refused to play ball with the Capitol at first and got his loved ones killed as result, leaving him jaded and resentful. He's unhappy watching kids die overall so he'd probably get involved with the rebellion first chance he's got. ]

[ In the meantime doing his best to teach his tributes some fighting and survival basics. Unfortunately his people skills and camera presence leave things to be desired... ]
