Well, am I?
AITA: The Meme
r/AmITheAsshole or AITA is a subreddit dedicated to, well, figuring out if the poster is the asshole. People post their grievances, often with a snappy title (“AITA for not allowing my best friend to crash at my house after his wife died?”), the story of their saga, and often ending with two sentence TL;DR summary at the bottom.
Commenters vote, YTA (you're the asshole) or NTA (not the asshole) or ask for more details before giving their final verdict. Occasionally, people declare a story too unbelievable to be true, and refuse to vote.
- Post a toplevel with your character's story. Include as much or as little detail as is IC, including aliases if they're trying not to stir too much shit.
- Tag around. Are these people the asshole?
- Discuss! Fight! Pretend your character got banned from Reddit!

AITA for saying no boning on Sundays?
( he points towards the sky. )
We can totally make up for it every other day of the week. Twice on Fridays, three times on Saturday. But Sunday? No-go, bro.

AITA for murdering a guy who didn't do as he was told?

So I killed him, right there in the street. Not like I'm ever subtle about what I do to people who don't adhere to our code of conduct. Not sure why he thought he was special enough to earn an exception.

AITA for publicly ruining my abusive, ableist dad?
Anyway, I'm the oldest, so obviously I got it the worst. He was pretty harsh, sometimes getting physical with me, but nothing too bad until we found out that his project not only failed but it gave me a genetic condition that causes me constant pain and makes me incapable of living out His DreamTM.
He started blaming my mom, hit her sometimes too. I was just a kid, felt like that was my fault, so I tried to keep up and push past the pain to do what he wanted me to do. He just started ignoring me. Like I didn't even exist. Calling me "your son" to my mom, shit like that.
He convinced her to keep having kids, trying for one that won't be a monumental mistake, and I kept trying to push myself to be what he wanted me to be. It was brutal and agonizing. Pretty much wrecked my body. Left me disfigured with some really gnarly scars. When I was 13, it got bad enough that my family even thought it had killed me. When I came home from a long stay in the hospital (alone btw, no one visited me), I saw him doing the same shit to my youngest brother (8 at the time), and I dipped. Ran away, went no contact with all of them.
This is where I might be the asshole.
Thing is, Dad's super famous for work that puts us on opposite sides of the political spectrum (I'm a leftist). Can't tell you the industry or whatever because you'd recognize him—that kind of famous. And all his fans think he's some great fucking person. I think it's bullshit that he just gets away scot-free while the entire rest of the family is fucked because of this guy. So after 11 years no contact, I put out a video exposing him and all the shit he did. It went viral and now public opinion is turning on him.
Some of my siblings are saying I went too far and that I should have come home and tried to reconcile with him (though one of my brothers (19M) is on my side). They're even saying I still should, even after that, because he's "trying to change" or whatever. I pretty much think the world would be better off if he was dead.
So, Reddit, you tell me. AITA for exposing this piece of shit or am I just a brat who didn't get enough attention?

Fuyumi and Natsu exist because Mom wanted you to have siblings btw. But yeah, I was Dad's fault.
So yeah, he sucks. But you kinda suck too.

anyway i was 8, it was one time, and the other murders aren't relevant to the situation with dad
