Sometimes he doesn't even realize he's doing it. This is one of those times - the streets are dark and quiet, his music's loud, and Billy races right past a police cruiser without so much as noticing it's there.
Until the lights and sirens come on, anyway. That yanks him right back to reality, swearing under his breath as he pulls the Camaro over. Billy throws his head back against his seat with a huff, taking a long drag from his cigarette before rolling the window down.
On the bright side, finally getting out of his dad's house means he doesn't have to hide a ticket or risk having one coming in the mail. But then again, because of that, he can't really afford another ticket. Shit. Time to choose fast: come up with an excuse, plead for an exception, or...? What, bargain? ]

it's obvious nei's talented; siegfried doesn't need to have his full eyesight back to know that she's strong and a formidable opponent in her own right, able to pick things up quickly with minimal instruction. he's trained all manner of knights back in the day, but rarely has he ever trained one who possessed the same drive and determination she has. whether it be based purely on of her own desire to be praised or something deeper, he can't be sure, but there's a satisfaction in crossing swords with someone who, while unable to meet him in raw strength, is able to meet him in skill and technique.
and so it's no surprise when she eventually executes it flawlessly, slipping under his guard and knocking him onto his back just like he showed her. she has one knee pressed against his sternum and the edge of her training sword pressing against his throat, but siegfried's smile only grows as he catches his breath, proud and satisfied. ]
