( he could easily dig into the weight of needing to make those decisions, but he's chosen not to because there's clearly knowing sacrifices that loki must make for stories, despite how jovially they had presented the matter. that too is it's own deflection, but bucky is starting to learn better how to see them. sort of. )

and maybe it doesn't feel like some grand mythology to you, but from where I am, inside of it, this is all part of the history I live

there are not breaks between what I experience that would ever make things feel like one-shots

i have an apartment in new york. i change its location when i need to, slot it into different buildings as if it's always been there. it'll stay put for a bit now. i think that's fair enough.
