You can but you do not have to. I haven't actually used them for that much yet, only when there is suddenly yelling - or very sudden quiet AFTER yelling, but it may come in handy in the future.

He was technically my dad for a mission. I was part of his cover identity, when I was very small, for about three years, and then we were separated for about twenty. And his cover identity - he was still enthusiastic and affectionate, but he was not himself, you know? For one, he was American.
