i spent years manipulating this guy into being my metaphorical dog until i decided that i actually dont need/want that anymore. when i told him to leave me alone, though, he refused and basically said that he wants to "fix me" or whatever. how do i get him to fuck off??

maybe the answer isn’t what he deserves, but what he wants. it sounds like right now, all he wants to do is be with you which is questionable... but makes sense given the scenario.

instead of telling him to leave you alone, you could find someone else he wants more and try to set the two of them up.

if you spent years uh trying to make him like you, then playing cupid shouldn’t be too hard!
