"Pretty sure if I need a cowboy hat, I'm better off getting one down here." Also, he hasn't actively owned or worn one since his stint as a ranch hand, so. There's that.

Buck pulls back from the hug with a grin of his own, though it's a bit less bright than TK's. Mostly because he's just Tired(TM) from the move and the plane ride and from anxiously wondering if this was actually a good idea and if the 126 is going to feel like a home to him at all and even if it does, how long is it going to take to fall apart like everything else in his life eventually seems to?

"Yeah, I could eat. Especially if it's my last opportunity."

"We can definitely find you one," TK replies, looking Buck up and down. Maybe cowboy hats are a thing for him now, but he's not bothered by that. Especially if Buck wants to wear one for him.

He reaches out and grabs some of Buck's luggage and starts to lead him out to the truck. He chatters on the way, talking about the 126 and the schedule they usually work on. Once they get into the truck, he turns toward Buck invitingly.

"Don't worry, we can sneak out for burgers." At least that's the only thing TK is going to be sneaking out for. He has a bad track record and the last thing he needs is Owen worrying about him.

Cause if they’re going to have to sneak out for burgers, then Buck feels he should know what he’s walking into.
