Life's a beach.

The sound of the waves washing in and out, the warmth of the sun as it shined down upon you, the smell of the ocean in the air. A trip to the Beach could always be fun and relaxing. Maybe you want to join a game of Beach volleyball or head out in the ocean and swim? There is always the option of catching a wave or two if you know how to surf. And if you don’t know how? Maybe you want to learn.
There are quite a few activities you can do while you are at the Beach. Though sometimes nothing beats just laying down and relaxing in the sun. But don’t forget to put on sunscreen to protect your skin! And for those hard to reach places, why not ask for a little helping hand.
[ooc: Open post for all! Set up your post however you want. Put up multiple scenarios, leave it blank, ect. Add a picture of what their swimwear is too if you like. Have fun! Ganked from this spot here.

Besides, could she say that she'd never (perhaps unknowingly) willed a tangle out of her own hair? All that outdoor travel was hard on a high-maintenance cut like Umi's!
"But I guess on the other hand, at least we have each other to talk to. If it hadn't been for you guys..." she trailed off, a little embarrassed. "Well, anyway, I glad you were both there with me."

She was grateful she hadn't, actually. Asking the Creator of the Universe... how disrespectful!
Fuu nodded earnestly at Umi's statement. She understood the sentiment in that unfinished sentence. "I am too," she said. "I'll always be glad that I met you and Hikaru at Tokyo Tower that day." She smiled, remembering that first day. "Do you remember how mad you got when I suggested Mount Fuji blew up and sent us there?"

Umi put her hands on her hips. "Well, of course I remember! What a thing to say! Er, but I guess considering all the other stuff we've seen, a mountain blowing up really wouldn't be as surprising any more."
She sighed. "Anyway, do you want to go for a swim? The water looks really nice today."

She stood up eagerly at Umi's suggestion. "Yes! It looks like everyone who's in the water is enjoying it, without having to spend too much time adjusting to the temperature," she said, shading her eyes to look out at the various swimmers. She ran towards the water quickly, on her tiptoes. Umi had been right, the sand was very hot!

White seabirds scuttled back and forth, picking at unseen bits of food when the waves were out, and fleeing on their stubby little legs when the water came roaring back in. Their bodies were small, but they apparently had inexhaustible amounts of energy. "Hey, get a load of those guys! Remind you of anyone?"

She smiled. "I think Sir Mokona put a special effort into creating these creatures!" she said, cupping her cheek in one hand. "You can almost imagine them saying 'pu pu.'"

"The temperature's just right!" With a sharp intake of breath, Umi dove beneath the waves, searching the sandy bottom for any stray shells.

Fuu pinched her nose, took a deep breath, and ducked under the surface. The water roared in her ears--she recalled reading about how water magnified sound--and felt on the sand for anything interesting. Her fingers touched something flat and smooth, not at all like a seashell, and she grabbed it and surfaced.
She wasn't sure, but it looked like a broken bottle that had been smoothed by the ocean. "I think I found a piece of sea-glass!"
no subject
She wrinkled her nose. "Fuu, you can find stuff like that anywhere!"
no subject
She leaned closer to get a better look at the object that Umi had found. Without her glasses, she couldn't say for sure. "A seashell? I wonder what kind of mollusc it was."
no subject
She handed the shell to Fuu. "I don't know what kind it is, exactly. Probably some kind of clam or... ugh! What's that? There's something gross wrapped around my leg!"
She could feel its sliminess clinging to her ankle, and vehemently kicked with her foot underwater to try and free herself.
