[He raises his wrist up to examine the bracelet, tracing a long finger over the spikes which are similar to Roll's quills... No, did this mean that...

... Nothing to do but confirm his suspicions, huh. So he deftly channels his flames into the bracelet - nothing happens for a beat, then a flash of light erupts and there's a surprised squeal from a hedgehog. Hibari looks adequately surprised (read: one eyebrow raised) and leans down to inspect the hedgehog snuffling around on the table.]

... Roll.

[Brb fussing over his box weapon. Even if it is an illusion.]

Kufufu~ That isn't all that thing can do.

[But he'll leave you to figure that out for yourself. Unless you want to ask him (nicely)~ He channels flames into his own gear and Mukurou flaps on to his shoulder a moment later, while the khakkhara is nowhere to be seen.]

[He frowns slightly, working out the possibilities from that - hmm, seems like summoning Roll isn't all that he can do with this Vongola Gear... He unfolds his legs and stands smoothly, scooping the hedgehog up with one hand and taking a few steps away from the table.

Hm... What happens if he...]

Roll. Cambio Forma.

[He had worked out how to do the Cambio Forma before Sawada had insisted on destroying the rings, after all - so he assumes that the Cambio Forma of this supposed Vongola Gear would be somewhat similar.

But... he's rather surprised (pleasantly so, of course) when the long gakuran settles around him, and his tonfa appear in his hands - they've apparently been modified, the chains able to be lengthened with the Cloud Flames' propagation ability. Oh, and let's not forget those handcuffs which are now hanging on his belt. Woohoo. A pleased smirk graces his face as he examines the changes with a critical eye.]

Wao.

[Ooh, very good~ He keeps his eyes on his tea so that he won't be accused of staring, because that coat looks Hibari look far too sexy for his own good.

Also, he's hoping that Hibari doesn't decide to test out that new weapon on him, even if it's only an illusion. Not that he wouldn't relish a chance to use his upgraded Gear.

~~He rather envies the Cloud Gear, actually. Why didn't he get any badass weaponry...~~]

[He swings the tonfa around a few times experimentally, as if to test out its balance - it's perfect, and his smirk just grows wider. The gakuran is also very much to his liking, especially the patterning inside of the coat - birds in flight, how appropriate.]

[Hey, Rokudo, fight him. Or if you don't want to, give him something to bite to death. There actually might just be the end of a chain whipping past your nose now to get your attention. Grin.

[He pauses, in the middle of sipping his cup of tea, as the chain whips dangerously past and almost cracks the china. Raising an eyebrow at the other and seeing Hibari's grin, he slowly smirks and sets down the cup, rising with a languorous stretch.]

...Mukurou?

[The owl turns back into the khakkhara at his command and the table with its teaset disappears. Don't worry, it'll come back once they're done. That done, he settles into a ready stance, wondering if taking his time made the skylark impatient enough to attack first.

[No, he's not all that impatient. But nevertheless, he's going to attack first. One, two, three steps, and he's already got a kick aimed at Rokudo's face.

Huh, they're always like this, aren't they? Every single meeting they have, it always ends in fighting. Not that he's protesting, no - it's good practice for him.

~~nope.avi. You don't have enough Cloud in you for this. Heh.~~]

[He flows smoothly to one side, the khakkhara knocking the foot aside as he propels himself forward with one of his knives concealed against his wrist. He looks as if he's going to grab Hibari's neck, but if the skylark doesn't dodge he might find himself with a nasty cut.

~~He has some Cloud!! See? /poof!~~]

[No, he's not going to dodge that fully - he twists aside easily and a tonfa comes sweeping down, headed for the other's skull and planning to crack it like the shell of an egg. Heh.

~~Not enough! And too weak.~~]

[The illusion collapses as the tonfa sweeps through where his skull was. The mist reforms behind Hibari with Mukuro thrusting out his ringed staff, one of the spikes shooting out towards the other's back.

~~;3; B-but it should be enough to make a hedgehog, right??~~]

[Whoops, dodging that right now - he doesn't want a spear through his midsection, so he'll be executing a backflip through the air and over the illusionist. And while he's up in the air, there is also a handcuff shooting towards that pineappley tuft to bonk Rokudo on the head.

~~A teeny tiny one. You should stick to growing plants, dude.~~]

[He spins out of the way, a wide, gaping hole appearing in the earth where Hibari is about to land. Thick, twisting vines burst from the ground around them as well, growing rapidly towards the sky with some reaching out to try and snag Hibari. That hole is in case they miss (though Mukuro is fairly sure he can predict what Hibari will do next).

His eyes, if one looks closely, have taken on a less-than-human appearance, slitted and feral as they track the other man's movements. This battle is the perfect chance for him to channel some of that restless bloodlust but it's an ongoing battle for him to control it so that it doesn't rule his judgement.

~~TAT But this wolf...! /sends out Kiba~~]

[Nope, nope, nope this isn't real it's just an illusion - goddamnit, it's not working. Despite what his mind knows, his senses are telling him that this is real. There's only one thing to do - each vine is batted out of the way as he falls towards that gaping hole.

And he bets that Rokudo was thinking he'd use his hedgehogs to get out of the way - unfortunately, he takes pride in being unpredictable, so when one of the vines reaches towards him, he latches onto it with a handcuff and swings out of the way of the hole to land on the other side, the cuff constricting on the vine afterwards and cutting it off.

That done... Well, nothing left to do but attack Rokudo again, hm? Be a real man and face him in a real fight!

~~Hedgehogs are cooler than wolf-puppies. So they require more flames to grow. -3-~~]

Hmm~!

[The vines form a mostly inpenetrable cage around them while the hole seals itself. Unlike Hibari's Reverse Needle Sphere, it's not meant to suffocate those inside as is evident by the gaps in the greenery. Mukuro holds the staff before him again and the spiked rings begin to spin around the staff, whirling faster and faster until they form a deadly fan that cuts whatever it brushes against. With this, the illusionist moves in to clash with the skylark.]

[He doesn't care for the display of power - it means nothing if he can break through the defense. Just as he's about to meet Rokudo head on and clash, he abruptly jerks back and away, darting to the side and sweeping out a tonfa to attack the illusionist's side.]

[He digs in his heel and twists around, the whirling spikes knocking the tonfa away with a scree of steel. The sudden stop jars his knee but he uses that leg to launch him at Hibari, sweeping his weapon back towards the other man.

~~Good things come in small packages.~~]

[The recoil from the impact throws him off slightly, but he steadies himself, and not a moment too soon. The khakkhara clashes against a raised tonfa, the whirling blades dangerously close to his face, but he smirks and darts sideways, slipping away from Rokudo.

Apparently, he's going to go with the evasive tactics-- but wait! What's that, wrapped tightly around the staff? It's a chain trailing from the end of a tonfa; there's no warning before he jerks hard, intending to disarm the illusionist.

[The khakkhara is yanked out of his grasp! But it vanishes before it's even halfway to Hibari. Even with it gone, Mukuro is still in control of this illusionary world, so a mere thought is enough to conjure another weapon to his hands - that faithful trident of his. With it, fighting feels much more natural, as if the weapon was made for him.

Now watch out! There's a roar, then a rust-coloured dragon pulls itself out of the earth, shaking off chunks of grass and dirt from its scales and wings. It reptilian eyes stare at Hibari before it launches itself at the Cloud Guardian.

[Oh.

Oh. Well. This is such a nice surprise. He'd always wanted to fight a dragon. He holds his ground until the dragon is almost upon him, then crouches before launching himself straight up into the air - the chains from the tonfa grow and grow, becoming impossibly long.

A simple twitch directs them to wrap around the dragon's massive neck - Hibari follows after to land with a tap on the dragon's snout, darting along the spines. The chains continue lengthening with the flames he pushes into them, trailing after him as he runs along the dragon's body, small and nimble. The beast roars and tries throwing the interfering human off, but he keeps his balance well, adjusting to every buck and twist from the dragon.

Eventually, the creature is surrounded by the chains - they hamper its wings, so that it can't fly, and eventually tighten enough so that the sharp edges start cutting into the dragon. Cloud flames are soft, yes, but if concentrated enough, can become a lethal force.]

[The dragon roars again in pain and defiance, the chains cutting into its body the more it struggles to free itself. Its tail lashes, thudding against the vines which, miraculously, hold. With its tail, it tries to swat the little human away.]

[The tail's a dangerous weapon that Hibari has to avoid every time it comes slamming down, so eventually he decides to quit playing around and finish off the dragon. Chains, constrict! Kill this dragon!!!

... Yes, thrash all you like, dragon, you're not going to escape. In fact, you're going to die. BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT PEOPLE ~~and dragons~~ DO!~~]

[With one last agonised cry, the dragon falls heavily to the ground and disintegrates. The chains fall to the ground with a soft rattle, no longer wrapped around anything of flesh (not that the creature had ever been flesh). It's strangely quiet now. Mukuro is nowhere to be seen.]

[Hibari proceeds to ~~absorb the dragon soul~~ start retracting the chains - they zip back into the tonfa with a simple motion, before the skylark looks around with narrowed eyes. Hmm, where did Rokudo go?]

Show yourself.

Ku fu fu fu...

[The area gradually fills with a dense fog that restricts visibility. Areas of it will swirl, as if something is moving within them. But if Hibari goes to investigate he'll find nothing.]
